Aaaaaand that's a wrap on Season 2!

Thank you SO MUCH for being so patient with us ♥ I'm ultimately glad we took our time to appreciate these characters' arcs, with journeys similar to our own in this crazy year. This is a GOOOOD season of a show.

Now who wants to gush about TMNT with Caleb? 🤣

I will say without getting into any spoilers that you kind of have to do Defenders before Daredevil season 3 because season 3 of Daredevil is a continuation of Defenders.

This might have been already mentioned in the video, I wouldn't know I haven't watched it yet. But did you know that TMNT and Daredevil had a shared origin of sorts! Some context: When Matt Murdock was hit in the eyes with the radioactive waste from the cannister during the accident, it was assumed that it just rolled away into obscurity. Splinter the rat witnessed Matt's accident (referred to in the indie comic as "a young man"). Unnoticed to everyone except him, the canister bounced on the ground and hit a glass jar carried by a kid. The jar shattered, freeing four baby turtles and covering them with "glowing ooze" Splinter himself was exposed to the ooze when he decided to save the four turtles by placing them in a coffee can. The turtles and the rat continued to mutate in the sewers over the next few days, becoming intelligent humanoid creatures. A lot of the characters from TMNT are actually parodies of characters from Daredevil, I'm guessing that Splinter is a parody of Stick😂The creators originally were making satire of all the things they loved, but ended up taking a life of it's own. Somehow the Turtles and Daredevil have never had an official crossover (Though they have with Batman in recent years, check that out!) though recently one of the creators, Kevin Eastman, has stated that it will happen. If you've never read the original comic run, I highly recommend it! It's a little more mature in it's writing, and the turtles are much more brutal than they are today. As I was reading, I started to notice more and more that it influenced a lot of what the '03 show did, which was very cool.

Love you ended up liking Matt and Electra together. And yea I'd second what Matt says. Defenders is very much Daredevil season 2.5 and if you ever wana watch Daredevil season 3, really should be watched first. It's also a shorter show so not as big a commitment as the netflix shows can be x

I'm so happy you guys finished this and what an ending! I honestly didn't realize until Caleb mentioned it how much TMNT parallels Daredevil. It just made me realize that I think the turtles were made at the same time Matt had his accident as they were both doused in the same radioactive material. I got excited when Melvin gave Daredevil his signature billy clubs. Even though you've made comparisons to Batman as far as how Matt acts as Daredevil, while the sort of brooding nature is very true, his acrobatics, fighting style and the billy clubs are actually more similar to Nightwing since he also uses billy clubs as his main weapons and we know he's acrobatic since we know Dick Grayson is a former acrobat (side note if Caleb grew his hair out a little again, I think he'd kill it with a Nightwing cosplay). I always get excited when we see Frank save Matt with his Punisher vest on. As for the next shows, Luke Cage I think is a really good watch. But yeah I'm fine with you guys watching Iron Fist on your own time before moving onto the Defenders show cause I was never really into it. And then the Punisher show is just so freaking good! Also I wouldn’t mind a reaction to the Batman vs TMNT movie as well. I’ve heard it’s a lot of fun and I also think it introduces you to a character in the Batfamily that you haven’t met yet

But due to his lack of responsibility at the time, he basically tells him that it's no skin of his nose, he's looking out for number 1! I really do love how genuinely shocked Logan is by this, and him showing genuine regret and sympathy knowing what's about to happen to Uncle Ben. Okay that's me done for today, peace out✌️

You guys should watch The Defenders next before season 3 of Daredevil. It will give you much more information of the background on the Hand, Stick and Electra. It’s not necessary to watch the other programs to enjoy the Defenders.

Defenders will continue Electra’s storyline and help understand Matt’s whole plot for season three and the punisher goes on his own for his show

The connection between Daredevil and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is always gonna be so fun for me. TMNT was my childhood growing up. I will always love this obscure fact. PS. Also, let's not forget the main baddies in TMNT are the Foot Clan ninjas like Daredevil's the Hand. 😂😂😂😂

Will you guys be watching Luke Cage and Iron Fist or jumping straight to Defenders? I can speak for Luke Cage being good.

If you decide to watch Luke Cage and Iron First, Luke Cage is excellent. I think you’ll like it. Iron Fist… I know a lot of people hated it. I was rooting for it so hard. But it’s pretty messy. Danny is hard to like. Season 1 leads directly into Defenders. You could skip Iron Fist S2 tho.

I hope you go through this whole saga: Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist.

It's a really tangled web, because Defenders is between DD S2 and S3, but it's also kind of a sequel to Iron Fist - it's actually a little ridiculous how much Iron Fist ties into the Defenders. So continuity-wise, it's a looooot of shows to get through before you are at DD S3. If you are willing to miss a few things though, you might also consider to jump straight into DD S3, because IIRC the plot does not depend on Defenders really. So if you aren't purists for continuity. I think you just need to know 1 thing about how Defenders ended for Matt, and I'm sure the community will fill you in, if you choose to go this way. The Punisher is something that's almost entirely parallel to all the Defenders related shows, so if you just want to see DD S3, you don't need to watch Punisher - personally I'd love to see your reactions to the 2 seasons, of course.
