Beware the Creeper BTAS

Comments

The Amazing Webhead

Haven’t seen the reaction yet but I know it’s gonna be great! Creeper/Jack Ryder was created by Spider-Man’s co creator, Steve Dikto as a crime fighter despite his insanity. It’s kind of crazy that this character actually joined the Justice League in DC lore but he’s unpredictable so it makes sense. 😅 Also don’t know if you mention it in the video but you did meet Jack Ryder in the Arkham games but through small interactions & was implied he is already The Creeper. ^^

Creeper was made by Steve Dikto as a vigilante who feigned craziness to mess with the criminals he fought, back in 1968. As DC evolved, his origin got reworked, with him having a patch that turned him into the Creeper persona, that was constantly in a state of psychosis because of the amount of drugs that were injected on him during the experiment that gave him his superpowers. (After that I lost track of his character, they keep changing and adding stuff with how DC is so quick to rebooting) Although he's always been based in Gotham and the staff really liked the character, with plans of making him a recurrent one in the series.

Meg, meet THE CREEPER!!! Ya know what Joker had done is make a person who's even more of a wacko than him! Difference is he's on the side of good! He reminds me of THE MASK & FREAKAZOID!!!🤣 Harley should've really reconsidered about The Creeper cause he actually SEES HER unlike Joker. Also I loved how he just knocked Batman up in the air while flirting on her!🤣

You finally met Jack Ryder's other personality! I believe when you first played Arkham Asylum and scanned a riddle for his bio, they mentioned that he is a news reporter and has an alternate personality named the Creeper. This is that other personality. I also loved that this showed a dramatization of Joker's origins, which is him falling into a vat of chemicals, just like what happened in the 1989 Tim Burton movie. I also like this idea of this being Joker's origin and how he got the bleached skin, green hair, and red lips, instead of it being makeup and hair dye, which is what a lot of people believe is the case thanks to Nolan's Dark Knight Joker. I absolutely can't wait for the next episode cause I know exactly what it is and I'm so curious to hear what you think of it. And then we are finished with this show. Plus hearing you say how frustrated you are with Joker with how he treats Harley and that he doesn't know how good he has it, makes me even more excited to see what you think of the finale episode!

It's a shame we're near the end of the series, thus the Creeper (Jeff Bennett) sees very little exposure past his debut. The perfect 'good guy' Joker with all the fun but less of the narcissistic evil. The only other attempts at such a character are mirror universe copies like the Jester. Like all characters, Jack Ryder varies depending on continuity but he is usually a more 'tabloid' reporter in contrast to Vicki Vale's crusading reporter. Someone who focuses more on the sensational muckraking aspects of Gotham's underworld but remains a good person at heart even after his life-changing experience... or at least chaotic neutral. It's funny to think about how the rogues have become akin to celebrities in Gotham- remember back in Joker's Wild where a casino magnate stole Joker's image? Complete with having all the female staff dress like Harley. Only one left to go, one of the very best episodes in the whole series, and this is actually a very good lead up to it. Enjoy!

Lmao true, if we're comparing both, she should maybe reconsider Jack 🤣
