Hello you wonderful Deviants,
I wanted to share my idea and plan for playtesting for this game.
My main idea is to create isolated instances of all aspects:
- The Lewd interactions
- Shopping
- Blacksmithing
- Upgrading Party Members.
- Combat (Basic Attacks, Jumping, Moving, using abilities, switching between characters)
- Puzzles
- Any Mini Games
- Interacting with NPCs
- Navigating Menus
- Foraging
- etc
Unfortunately Playtesting isnt going to always be fun, but I am fully aware in how important it is, and your feedback will be so important here.
In short, I want to let you test and feel all aspects of the game, but not by following the story, or the actual game world, when you go to play the game - In a way, you haven't played it at all, if that makes sense.
I may even create a demo village and map - like a "phantom Hedone" where the playtesting and Demoing lives in.
But maybe I can make it like one executable file and in the menu you select different aspects and add and update as it goes.
What are your thoughts about these isolated instances?
