Hello All!

A heavy Spike episode is a yes from me. Great to see some of his backstory & I think this episode allowed us to understand him as a character even more too. I felt for Robin a lot in this but I am so relieved that he wasn't successful in killing Spike. Some harsh but fair words shared by Buffy & Giles is adamant that Spike will be her undoing.

I don't believe Buffy actually WOULD let Spike kill Robin, even when she says that she would. I almost can't but into that, because that really isn't who Buffy is as a character, and I don't go along with the idea that it's what she's turned into. Buffy has been a great character because she's actually GOOD, not just strong. Anyway, I was a bit taken aback by your not realizing what was happening on the phone with "Fred in LA," but I was excited that you'd be truly surprised by what happens on Angel. 😁

A very heavy episode indeed. I find it interesting, that Giles goes on about Buffy being set in stone about her decision and her feelings on that part, whereass he's doing the exact same thing. Regarding Spikes trigger and backstory, i think its really well done, the conclucsion he comes to at the end aswell. In the end, Buffy does exactly what Giles is telling her though. She acts like the general and stands her ground. Telling them to stuff it and deal with her decision. I never have too much to say about this episode. I think its really well done and the episode speaks for itself. I do agree that I hate seeing Giles and Buffy ont he outs, but what Giles did was a d*ck move and Giles and Wood just needed to get over themselves. Im lookin forward to the last episodes (*cries internally*) :).
