Some of you might be remembering this line from Warband. And some might remember this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/389
I'm currently in progress of updating this mod with more gameplay-friendly way. Well it's more like rewrite rather than updating actually, so I have full control over idea once more (initial version had limitations) I even removed certain intentional limits that Taleworlds introduced (such as not being able to kill kids) And yes, you can kill kids with this mod 😂
Currently added/changed:
- Changed Villager AI to react more like they are running away or fighting for protecting themselves. If AI does something dumb and can't move, they choose to get on their knees and beg for their life
- Now when you raid villages, you will raid villages on Campaign map as well - previously this wasn't the case and raid was just staying in scope of the scene
- Tied battle results to real world outcomes - meaning that if your soldiers are killed during raid, they will be killed - this wasn't the case in previous iteration of the mod
- Added militia support for villages - now when you are raiding, after a certain time militia will defend the village. And even if you fail to raid village but kill 50% of militia, they will stay dead, meaning that you will increase chances of that village getting raided by someone else even if your raid fails.
- Did some improvements on spawning logic and such so they don't freeze up for a second during their spawns.
What I want more:
- I will probably touch on Town logic to make raids in town more reasonable before releasing it.
I'm really not sure how I should be tackling that, though, since it's not exactly like village raid and previous version was a little strange.
On this, I would like you guys to pitch in some ideas if you will - I'm all ears. What could be done to bring some criminal violence to Bannerlord streets?
