Koga Wolfe

Right after you mentioned Star Wars, I realized that Germa 66 is a reference Star Wars. Order 66 was the covert directive for the clones to kill the Jedi.

SpartanManJDOGG

Other than abnormally high heat resistance sanji really is a normal human. His training makes him seem superhuman tho. Tho u can say the same thing about zoro too.

Koga Wolfe

Sanji in that mask is also a reference to The Man in the Iron Mask. One Piece uses a lot of references. Even the Alice in Wonderland similarities, and there are more stories of Alice called Through the Looking Glass.

Username

"Oda, don't disappoint me!", you say for Sanji to get back at them? Oda will do you one better lol

Speed1247

Don't trust Oda, all you can trust him to do is make you cry over and over again. (Also laugh and smile and feel joy when Luffy does his thing that helps heal broken people and broken societies)

Moku

The Germa kids - without Sanji - are less akin to the Koopa Kids, and more akin to the Rowdyruff Boys with Blossom as a tagalong. The color schemes match completely, they're super-powered with a level of inspiration from comic books, literally and from a meta level. It even fits from a matter of birth; Blossom is older than the boys, and the boys are triplets. Reiju is older than the boys, and the boys are three of a set of quadruplets.

Silver Blade

I just noticed - it's almost as if Sanji is smoking/using his lighter everytime he has to soothe himself... that's interesting

Johnathon

Cracker was just toying with Nami, that's why it looked like she was holding him off.

Moku

Oda understands that for there to be light, there must be darkness as well. The sad times of One Piece are there to complement the joyous times. It's good to feel those emotions when they present themselves - that's the entire point!

Munte

They have also stripped some of their emotions so that's why they are different , it is not only because he didn't know how to raise them , it is that Sanji is human physically and in mind too. He has human emotions such as fear , feeling of danger, empathy , sadness while his brothers don't, so you can't really blame them since they kind of don't feel empathy at all, so you should be angry at his father not them because how can you be angry at a robot , it is like talking to a wall , there is nothing you can do , they can't change. You can beat them , shout at them but there is nobody in their head to get to so it's pointless. The father is the problem, he should get all the hate. Love your reactions and i hope you already understand what i have wrote, if not it just looks silly ,for me at least when you say that you hope that sanji will get his payback on them and that they are bad and whatnot ,because... it is pointless ,they won't feel it even if they are about to die , then what's the point of revenge , they will not learn or fear or regret anything, it is like trying to kill metal can. Why the fuck i wrote all this, i don't know , don't mind me i just love your reactions.

Draconic

Yeah no, Sanji is a normal human compared to his siblings who were scientifically altered.

vork88

sanji sister is the real one out of the whole family

Diane Edmonds

Don't forget about Duval, who wore an iron mask to hide that he looked like Sanji('s wanted. poster). No wonder he was so mad! Eviiiiil Oda.

WindWarriorPlays

Actually i think the first time you acknowledge that sanji was not a normal human was back before enis lobby back in skypeia when he got stuck by lightning and stood long enough to be a bad ass. and i am glad you are connecting the dots

Icy

Judge basically gave his kids weaker devil fruits without the weakness which I do love the idea of.

Icy

Its less like they don't have emotions just stuff like empathy is removed and their other emotions are more suppressed. Since they can still get angry and laugh

SomeoneElse

One of my favourite things about watching One Piece reactions is the way Sanji's strength is questioned throughout the entire story. "Why is Sanji so strong? He doesn't train like Zoro and has no DF power", and most people just accept it as being an anime thing with him being strong because it's cool and that's it But 800 episodes later Oda decides to let know that Sanji was essentially built to be a superhuman. He was a late bloomer. While they were designed to have no emotion, Sanji realised his strength entirely because of emotion. When he first used his fire attack in Enies Lobby, he said he was the type who heats up with emotion. I don't think that was just a cool figure of speech 💪 Although because he thought he was a failure, he might have never realised his strength is at least partially due to all of this

WillGlacier

nah he just has super strength and can magically create fire out of his feat by "rotating really quickly" because that's totally how that works

Santi

I know Nami has her strong suits, but lets not be delusional now Alicia. Cracker was 100% playing around with her and enjoying tormenting her. Her deflecting a few blows that he wasn't even putting much strength into doesnt make her his equal in physical strength. Are we forgetting the dude countered luffy's gear 4 kong guns with simple sword thrust attacks? And casually at that lol

Lewd Angel

Yeah sure his insane physical feats and ability to create fire outta nowhere are totally just him being him, and nothing of his strength and endurance was foreshadowed at all

Jasaniel

He was called "Red Foot Zeff" because the blood of his enemies always stained his shoes, not because he had flaming kicks.

NickAsNickName

how Luffy's red hawk works is a big spoiler, so we shush about it. but it's unrelated to Sanji's flames

Fenronin (Dorian Dubourg)

people that think sanji's power come of this need to stop watching or reading One Piece, every characters have insane powers, they have problem with him making fire while spinning fast when it's explained when zoro multiply his head and have no problem with it

leviathan_13

He was playing with her, but come on, no need to clip her wings that hard. Kalifa was also playing with Nami and that's why she got her ass cooked in Enies Lobby. Fights in One Piece are not just power scaling, but there is always an element of rock, paper, and scissors in them.

Calib Allen

I actually know someone nicknamed Burnt Biscuit lmao

Calib Allen

i do love the "The Man In The Iron Mask" reference. Though it is horrible to see

Nytalis

Cracker was obviously toying with Nami lmao

TheMaskedOne

Fun fact. Zoro has the biggest bust in the straw hats. Nami second then Robin. The only person with a confirmed bust size bigger than Zoro is Boa.

Ebofa

Sanji trained everything by himself. Became much better at it naturally, than his family. Swimming. Kicking. Animal Abuse. He mastered it all.

Austin Jenkins

yes big mam would never disown one of her kids (o_o;)

Santi

Kalifa and Cracker are not in any way comparable. Khalifa wasn't shown to be on par physically with Gear 2 Luffy. Also there's only an element of rock paper scissors when the physical gap isn't that wide. OP is far more power scale, there is a reason Zoro and Sanji always fight the 2nd/3rd strongest opponents of the arc.

FlaschenJoe11

I personally believe, that the "Modifying" they did with the other kids basically hard capped their strength. Unlike Sanji who can grow more, since he grew naturally

Ebofa

I mean, the guy isn´t the number 1 Animal Abuser of the Straw Hats for nothing! He put in the work.

Chris White

that's Part of it. There's another theory that could also explain this ability, but we need to wait till we're DEEP into Wano to discuss that.

Elliott

"Those aren't burnt, I look darker than that...." is fuckin wild Lmao

Kyle

We know why Luffy can do Red Hawk. Has everything to do with what his Devil Fruit actually is
