I always loved how they kind of poked fun at the title name with the first episode. They always used to name them pilot episode, so they made the title literally part of the episode 😆

Anna Torv played Tess in The Last of Us! An outstanding actress (she's Australian!). From the scene with her and John in the motel room, the little nuances of her expression, I was hooked on her character. I did say this show will change your life and I'll be taking no other questions at this time about that 😆😆 John Noble as Walter is A+++ he's going to continue to blow your mind, same with JJ as Peter. There are SO many easter eggs placed in the scenes, some stuff will be answered some won't. It's a lot of little world building stuff too, like the Massive Dynamic logo on the inside of the jet engine of the Hamburg flight. And in one of the storage lockers with the old dusty car, a MD logo as a hood ornament. One thing I didn't notice until just now was when she was in the tank in her 'mind palace', she was standing in a graveyard and a gravestone said "he's not dead". Never noticed that before! Oh yeah, the MD liaison is Nina Sharp. And in regards of me recommending this show to you, it was something you did, or eluded to, in Atari Twilight that made Mike and I both stop and go, "?? Have you ever seen Fringe??" He's also a huge fan of this show. Juicy juicy stuff!!

Had a feeling you would get invested in Fringe from the get-go, and the best thing is that it builds and builds on all the stuff you loved about the first episode. Can't wait to see how you react to the rest of the run.

I'm always behind, but what a great start! I've seen season 1 twice so far, but fortunately, my memory is terrible, so it'll be fun to follow along and experience it again.

Lol that's the hard part of rewatching (and never finishing). I've seen the first season so many times and haven't seen past 2 in a long time. I've only seen 4 and 5 once. I *finally* have all the seasons on dvd xD

Loved watching along with this! :) Found you via your The Expanse reactions (and also a fellow BSG fan here) & had to come to Patreon to watch more of them. So happy you're doing Fringe! I watched it back when it aired, but I haven't rewatched it since & have forgotten so much. One thing I never forgot - how awesome Walter is, because he is played by the fantastic John Noble. You probably already know this by now, but he was Denethor in LOTR (among *many* other amazing roles)...the man's got insane talent. Looking forward to all the Fringe eps! :)
