Micah Spiese

Ok, as far as Morph goes, he was a nothing burger in the 60’s. He was brought into the show to be the guy who dies in the 2nd episode. Then Sinister abducts him and brainwashed him to be a henchman in season 2 but he breaks his hold and saves the team. Leads to a good episode showing how he’s still traumatized. But then Age of Apocalypse happens and he’s on the team in an awful costume and he’s the breakout star in the issues he’s in because he’s wisecracking in a pretty bleak timeline. And because of those stories and Exiles (where they get a different universe version of him but acts and looks the same) that characterization is what has stuck. Yup, still Corsair. There’s a great limited series where a time displaced Original 5 X-Men come forward in time (Don’t worry about it) and he sees what current Acott was like, says “so my dad is basically Han Solo? Yeah, I’m gonna go have fun space adventures with him and hot skunk step-mom” and bounces. And it rules.

the Maddy thing was spoiled by the toys cause she’s one of them (with a swaddled baby accessory) and she’s in an updated costume (cause that original under on one ain’t happening anymore). I still need to track one down to see if it still has the “Baby Yeeting Action” that the Mystique one had. Sinister’s powers are never really explained. Currently, he’s in a cloned body that he grafts powers from other mutants onto. He usually does 2-3 (more gets unstable) but for a long time, anything he did, he wasn’t able to make himself immune to Scott’s powers so that’s why he got goopy. As for the Stryfe stuff, given the direction the shows going, I’m gonna avoid that one except to check out the Cerebro animation of it on YouTube.

I've got nothing to add to Micah's fantastic comics lore other than to say it's fantastic. I liked this episode and the updates they made to the Goblin Queen for this story. Inferno was a bit before my comic-reading time, but I dimly remember reading the first appearance of Madelyne (Wasn't she a pilot in Alaska who was flying Alex and Scott somewhere?). Glad you enjoyed it too. Plenty of good stuff ahead.
