Shin Dong Yeob (the MC) is called "the Nation's MC" along with Yoo Jae Seok and Kang Ho Dong. He's a part of Amazing Saturday/Doremi Market (the show Taeyeon is in every Saturday), Animal Farm with Joy, and Immortal Songs. He's very friendly and extremely well regarded in Korean society after coming back from a scandal a long time ago. A good guy through and through.

fried chicken in Korea is crazy cheap compared to the US. All food actually. Food is a lot cheaper in Korea. I haven't been in a while but I know a chicken combo is usually like $5 - $10 dollars.

shin dong yeob is loved in korea- his show is definitely more suited to older idol groups and actors/actresses- even if you dont know the individuals on it, its still such great interviews. some guests you'd now- bibi, chungha, sistar, sunmi, hwasa, key, lee hyori, jeong eunji - i really like him in amazing saturday as well

Fun fact: this MC was an host for the show “Merry Queer” that tells stories of queer couples, since then I found out about his friendship with Seok-cheon (the first openly gay celebrity in Korea) and now I watched everything with him, he seems like a great guy

Yeri wasn't going to debut with aespa. I'm pretty sure none of the girls she was training with ended up debuting which is why she said she didn't want to kinda betray them by debuting with rv. Before they debut groups officially they will put trainees in groupings that could end up debuting to see how they do together while they train. Yeri was in one with im pretty sure 4 other girls and the 4 rv members were together. The 4 rv members were at a point where they were basically guaranteed to debut when sm decided to disolve yeris trainee group and add her to rv. So she was planned to be a part of rv before their debut but it was like really sudden and close to their debut. Plus she was young and it was right at a time when Korea had updated their child labor laws so they delayed her debut with the group a year so she wouldn't be affected.

I Loved this episode so much and this show especially ! Shin Dong Yup is almost everywhere bcoz of how many TV shows and award shows he hosts as an MC. The concept of literally no script at all and it genuinely feels like we're just secretly watching a group of people hangout together at a home at a Friday night:)
