Well, the Round of 32 is complete, and now it’s time for the first ever Bracket Breakdown! After every round, I’ll be providing an official guide to the latest stats and results from the TickleTickles Championship! Let’s dig into all the action from the exciting opening round!

Top 16 Success Rate: 12/16 (75%)

12 of the top 16 seeds have survived, including all four top seeds. A lot of the favourites are still in contention, such as Harley Quinn, Starfire, and of course the defending champion, Katara. However, four bracket-busters have created upsets, resulting in an early exit for the likes of Terra (7) and Toph (8). Everyone loves an underdog, and they’ll all be hoping they can bust the bracket again!

Strongest Win: Katara (81% victory)

Maybe it’s no surprise the defending champ went through with the highest win percentage in this round, with Katara taking down Meg Griffin with an overwhelming 81% victory! The champ is back and more dangerous than ever, and remains the favorite to win it all again!

Closest Win: Gwen Tennyson (Tiebreak Vote)

A close shave for #15 seed Gwen Tennyson, who barely managed to squeeze past #18 seed Kim Possible in the only tiebreak vote of this round. Either this means Gwen is in a precarious position, or the two girls were very evenly matched. It’ll be interesting to see how Gwen performs as she moves into her next battle against the red-hot favorite Raven.

Biggest Upset: Sandy Cheeks (26) over Terra (7)

The #26 seed Sandy Cheeks was the biggest bracket-buster of this stage, taking down the #7 seed Terra in a shocker of a tickle match! The sassy squirrel might have the lowest ranking of the survivors in this field, but after a big win like that, she feels confident she can make a deep run and prove she’s the toughest furry girl. Yeehaw!

One to Watch: Wuya (12)

Wuya had a very impressive 80% victory against her former hench-girl Katnappe in the opening round, suggesting that her abilities and confidence have a lot of respect from the voters. Or maybe they just like all these barefoot girls – hard to say! Still, such a dominant win gives Wuya a lot of momentum going into her next tickle fight, and this Haylin Witch isn’t going down easy. One to watch!
