I owe some stories. Who is a side character that you'd like to know more about? It can be from either Butcher or Tunnel Rat. This is only being posted to people who are donating more than 5.00 a month, and there are about a dozen of you. Each story will be 1000 to 2000 words long and can focus on a person or place or anything.

Not so much a specific person, but I would be interested in seeing a person unlock the Luck stat assuming it exists or to see someone from a Race that has the Luck stat like the Dwarfs have Toughness (or a Contract worker unlocking that Heritage).

I would like to know more about the Franklin Clan. All the little spoilers and name drops have me curious how they came to be.

The Franklin Clan and Ben have some chapters coming up, so that ties in well to have some extra material appear on Patreon with a little more depth. Consider that in the que.

Luck stat? That actually wasn't something I had considered. Of course, once something is brought up part of my head starts thinking about it. Defining just what it is would be the first part. In some stories it's just this flat percentage that adds to skill checks, in other stories, it's convenient plot armor when the author needs it. When I think about lucky characters in stories, the first person that pops up is Gladstone Gander. Things just go his way in life. If he's broke and hungry, a tumbleweed rolls by with bits of paper and a 20 dollar bill stuck to it. He wins way too many lotteries. If he walks into a new store he's always the 'Lucky 500th customer' in the secret contest. Then you have characters like Domino in marvel comics, who doesn't worry about bullets because she is 'lucky'. How lucky depends on the writer. Road Runner also comes to mind. RR is lucky, and Wiley E is certainly not. Luck can also be a zero-sum game. You and I grab apples from a barrel. Luck makes sure yours is perfect. Sadly, that means I'm much more likely to be unlucky and get one with a worm. This type of luck is sort of horrible if you ever want to have friends. Thinking will continue, and something will appear...

Main thought on my mind was a Bad luck Immunity skill that for each point in luck removes the Bottom 1% of Rolls. So say a person with 4 luck and Bad luck Immunity was to open the chest from chapter 103 the worst Roll they could get is a 5.(Which I guess only covers what the Skill bad luck Immunity does and not the luck Stat in general does) ( Edit: As for faces 1-4 of the metaphorical dice, I imagine they would count as a 5. So say if a person had 30 luck they would have 1-50 chance of getting Crafting materials x 4 usable by the character. All of ancient or better quality. Or a random item. Instead of a 31-50 because the metaphorical dice faces of 1-30 would count as 31. So the chance of getting the higher Rolls would stay the same while the chance to Roll 31 would increase) Edit:I think in the Past I have described the Luck stat as unconscious/Subconscious Divination&Reality warping/bending.
