“I’ve seen you around here quite a bit, but you don’t seem like the fitness type. I’m sorry if that comes off as rude.”

“Haha, relax. You’d have to try pretty hard to offend me. I just like to pop in every now then, talk to management, see how things are going. You know, boss stuff.”

“I hope business is booming then!”

“Not quite as much as I’d hoped, this 24-Hour thing isn’t panning out too well.”

“O-oh…Sorry to hear that. Well if it makes you feel any better, this is my favorite workout spot. I’m here almost every night. It’s nice and quiet at two in the morning. Sorry if that seems a bit weird.”

“Ha! Nothing wrong with that. I appreciate your hustle, really. And by the size of those arms, it’s really paying off. You look great. How long you been at it?”

“Th-thank you…It’s been 11 years, roughly.”

“Bravo! That’s one hell of a commitment. I could stand to learn a thing or two from you. Say, do you think I could borrow you for a minute?”

“Pardon?”

“Nothing much. Just accompany me to the office in the back. I’d love to get your…feedback about our facilities. You’re definitely more in tune with the culture than I am, wouldn’t you say? Input from experienced people like yourself might just be what I need to turn this place around.”
