When we realized that the spell had taken effect, it was already too late...
A gigantic gray cloud filled the sky, depriving the entire kingdom of sunlight.
Soon a kind of ash-like dust began to fall from the cloud without ceasing.
Anyone touched by the dust would slowly turn to stone.
In a matter of minutes, all traces of life in the entire kingdom were trapped in immobile statues.
