Round 3

The seconds are called out and the bell is rung for round 3. The Assassin internally admits that Emiko’s tempo is draining. She also knows that she can hang with Emiko on the ground and now sees this as her avenue to victory. However, despite the damage done to Kamiya-san, Killer Nurse is still agile and resumes her quick chopping kicks and jabs, mixed with elbows and shifting steps to dodge the Assassin’s grappling attempts. Evaluating that she may not be able to score a takedown with Emiko’s agility, the Brit opts for another game plan. She will go for the knockout. She knows that she can take a punch, but that the Japanese fighter is susceptible to damage. The Assassin switches up her tactics and starts winging out looping strikes to stop her opponent’s lateral movement and then fires straights. Emiko is able to avoid getting fully tagged, but the strikes are doing damage- damage that Chiaki is worried about. As the Assassin mixes her targets things get dangerous for Emiko, as punches start to hit their multiple marks.
