Feet are flung, fists fly and sweat soars as the two combatants battle it out. The Killer Nurse has the skills to hold onto victory but her power is waning further due to damage done to her arms from blocking her opponent’s big shots. The Assassin has the power, but her gas tank is emptying, being unable to land a decisive shot. With this stalemate on the feet it is Emiko who has a sense of urgency. She gets in close in a way she hasn’t throughout the fight and decides to clinch. While the Assassin is a good grappler on the ground and is physically strong, Kamiya hopes that her opponent lacks some knowledge when it comes to Muay Thai and begins using her Thai skills to wrestle on the feet and slash her with elbows. The Killer Nurse is right, this is slightly unfamiliar territory for the Assassin as she has only professionally competed in Kickboxing. The Jamaican survives by forcing the East Asian to the ropes. Emiko lowers her hips feeling that the Kajukempo fighter is going for a takedown. While she is not wrong she is not prepared for what’s coming.
