Hey everyone!

So this month I've added a wheelchair to my list of mobility aids to help me stay safe and stable while out with my illnesses (especially alone). Which of course, means I got right to work designing things I found that I needed/wanted for my chair!

Like the cane clips, all of these are available for free now! That way they're more accessible to fellow wheelchair users, AND these don't take spots from y'alls promised designs every month, since I made them for myself and I know not everyone will make use of them. But hopefully since they help me or make me happier with my chair, they can help someone else too! They were all designed for my rigid Quickie chair so there's not a guarantee they'll fit for everyone.

As always, seller tier subscribers also have commercial usage of these!

So we have:
Cup/phone holder with rotating bottom to help adjust for different chair shapes. (I use 1/2" velcro straps to secure it) https://than.gs/m/1151262

Wheel guards, since my 2nd hand chair didn't have any. These keep the wheels from eating my clothes. They clamp onto the bottom using 5M nuts and bolts and then the guards themselves and slide in and out as needed. https://than.gs/m/1150889

Bag hook, since my chair doesn't have handlebars, this helps make sure my backpack stays on my seat securely! https://than.gs/m/1149566

And the fun one-- Dragon wheel accessory! These guys clamp onto the wheel spokes and are pretty solid in place! They also fit many standard bicycle spokes as well. https://than.gs/m/1150888

If you're not on Thangs, you can also find these guys on Cults3D and Makerworld, too!

As always, I'd love to hear what other disability/accessibility designs y'all would like to see! I hope y'all enjoy these <3

Thanks so much for all your support!

I love it! Thank you

Dinner and a Game

Any chance you can do one for a power wheelchair?

Kekreations 3D

So far I've only done designs made to fit my manual rigid chair, but it's possibly some of them could fit a power chair depending on what model it is :)

I would love to see a sliding energy meter pin or key chain that I can flash at people letting them know I'm low energy and why I'm not talking or taking it slow. It can be so draining explaining why I'm taking so long or not chatting. Feel like this could go for everyone not just us low energy people. You could also clip it to a wheel chair too.

JACKPOT 3D CREATIONS

This is great my best friend just ended up in a wheelchair. He is a ball python breeder. Any chance you would make a snasnake for the wheels ?

Frosty3D

This is amazing! Some of these will be great for my 13 year old son in his power chair! Thank you!!!!

Morgan Masterson

My daughter has a medical stroller and she will LOVE the dragon wheels!

Ariel Tanski

Always love to see more accessibility designs. Would the cup/phone holder work with a rollator? I don't personally use one, so I can't print and check, but I think my friend who uses one would love this!

Kekreations 3D

Oh great question! I actually have one of those too for around the house xD So I'll check and get back to you on that!

Andrew Sheffield

My daughter saw these and was so excited for useful prints to help people (she works in a hospital)

Deanna Seigler

I’ve got a student with a gait trainer. I’ll see about making him a cup holder. 🥰

Andrea Graham

What do you think about break handle extensions? I am thinking you would have to use PETG for strength but in our nonprofit we hear that people are often struggling with the breaks not being visible enough, long enough for those with tone issues to grasp and they could absolutely look cooler!!

carrie roehrig

oh, this should fit on the arms of my directors chair i use for events. ill give it a try and let you know if it works

I'm a new subscriber, and I've been in a wheelchair my whole life. This is amazing. I never really comment on things, but I wanted to let you know that I truly appreciate you, and for the first time in a long time, I actually feel seen. Best of luck with your health. I can't wait to try the cup holder. I've been trying to find one to hold my owala for months.

Kekreations 3D

Aww thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate it <3 I hope the holder works well for you! :)

Wleigh

Love this! My daughter is in a wheelchair and the 2nd week of having a printer I learned enough in fusion to create and print a piece for a problem that we had been trying to fuss with a solution for years.

Oriana Servick

My nephews both have OI (brittle bones). Adyn the older boy has been in a wheelchair on and off most of his life and has had to learn to walk again 3 times. He is 16! These designs brought tears to my eyes. What an honor it will be to make these! I can't wait to tell their mom!

Kekreations 3D

Thanks so much! Awww yay that's so great!! It's amazing being able to create things to solve problems for yourself! <3 I'm so excited for y'all.

carrie roehrig

It does work but I busted the "fins" off the cup holder part. I'm reprinting now with a higher infil

Elizabeth Kusak

These are amazing! I do not currently have a wheelchair myself, but as someone with hEDS and POTS I'm so prepared for it and will absolutely be saving these! I also have a couple of hEDS friends with Wheelchairs that I will absolutely be printing dragons for! Thank you!

Charlie Ray

I would love to see a cover/protector for the Dexcom G7. I'm so active or clumsy, however you look at it. Many times, I hit it on the door when I'm walking by, and it has ripped itself off my arm. A cover for that would be great. I have not tried it myself; honestly, I wouldn't know where to begin except in TinkerCAD.

Karl Hansen

My husband will be out of his wheelchair soon as he is recovering from his stroke but I will be making him the wheelchair cup holder for while we are at vendor shows. He always spills his coffee.

Carol Tilbury

These are great designs! I would’ve love them even I used a manual chair. I’m in an electric chair now and it’s so much better for me. I’ve been trying to think of designs I can make for my chair. I need some sort of dragon for my wheels!! I did create a cup holder that fits in the accessory bar in the arm of my chair. I printed it with the free roll of Carbon Fiber PLA that came with my Bambu and it works great.

Kekreations 3D

Thanks so much! Ohhh that's awesome you were able to get an electric one to help you out more! We definitely more designs out there to help accessibility with these helpful accessories!

Kekreations 3D

I'm glad to hear he's on the road to recovery! <3 I hope the cupholder helps him in the meantime! :)

Kekreations 3D

Ohhh that would be a wonderful option! I'm not sure if printing in PLA would be the best material for something like that if it needs to wrap/secure around your arm? Hrmmmm

Kekreations 3D

Thank you so much!! Omg yes, fellow POTSie here and that's the main reason I'm utilizing a wheelchair now. After passing out, having to be carried, or lying on store floors and having to call for help, I finally decided this will help me be much safer and independent and keep my body more stable <3 Speaking of hEDS, I have several friends with it too and was just looking at possibly designing finger splints for that as well

David and Autumn Lee

These are amazing, one thing I keep trying to figure out how to make is an insulin pump clip.

HummingBird Designs

Hey hun, how many clips do we need to print for the dragon wheel centres? I think these are absolutely amazing!

Kekreations 3D

I used 5 or 6 for mine! You can use as many as you'd like/depending on the spacing on your chair spokes :) Thanks so much!!
