ahh everytime I slightly warm up to Haruno, I regret it deeply. The entire premise that they're not being genuine is true technically, but they're also being genuine in trying. I do agree though that Yui does need to just be honest with herself, constantly sulking and feeling bad isn't worth it, but how can I expect her to feel differently when every fucking example around her tells her to pretty much maintain equilibrium.

If I can call Haruno something it would be some kind of "accelerationist of feelings", she would rather see a violent approach on the feelings of these kids even if that makes them fall apart so that in her eyes they can show their "true" feelings, instead of seeing them commit mistakes while trying to understand each other casually. That's why I love sensei's approach in all of this mess, like what she said in her previous talk in the bridge that this moment isn't everything but that still something can only be made now, and in this talk where she says that is normal for people to "run around in circles" because that's how people start to understand their surroundings and themselves aswell. Also yes, to see Haruno spend quite some time with the issue of these kids kinda tells you something about her as person.

Haruno feels like the really charismatic & capricious person who's deeply bored/unsatisfied with some aspect their life. despite never admitting it to anyone, not even herself. To pass the time, she toys with people, because she can. Hikki is douer enough to see past the mask. That's why he's currently her favorite play thing.
