is so ineresting to hear your perspective, i'll say i saw live and in person in highschool girls' nudes and sex tapes being leaked by guys, unfortunately where i'm from there are no protection laws and the girls suffered the worst of it. this show was on i with many themes

Lagos, Nigeria. I grew up pretty privileged back home and was around other privileged kids. This was many of the ways the privileged boys would act out.

I watched Euphoria as it came out but I love watching it and hearing your perspective! I can't relate to the majority of things within this show and it was still intense for me to watch. So I can only imagine how it was for others that could relate on a different level

It’s intense for me too 😂 this life for me was years and years ago and it’s been a long time since I’ve explored it like this.

So many things in the show are real... Girls starting to post on porn sites because it somehow improves their self-esteem and is an „easy” way to earn money, sex tapes being leaked, drugs, abusive relationships and seenig no way out, nasty things in dating apps and just teens struggling to find themselves, like from my own experienece in high school which was not a long ago this is how it actually is

This is how it’s been for a long while. The only thing I’m seeing different is the technology.

The show Jules talked about binge watching was an anime series called Madoka Magical. It's famous for being cute with very dark subject matter. I binged watched it a few years ago, after initially rage quitting after something happened, lol. I ended up loving it, but, it can be a hard watch when you get attached to characters. I initially wasn't interested in this series. In part due to all the potentially triggering subject matter. I felt it was trying too hard to be edgy to get views, or something. But, watching it with someone else giving commentary about their own experiences got me interested. Especially having a lot of my own history with stuff. It's a whole different experience and I appreciate you opening up and sharing it with all of us.
