The cliffhanger on this one was always very effective to me- I like how it does the fade to black from Steven’s own POV as he slowly falls unconscious, reaching out for all his friends but unable to help as they’re taken away. I don’t have too much else to comment on until part two, since this ep mostly operated as a set-up for the end- but yeah, no- I definitely agree that this one did a good job at pushing a feeling of dread. Great reaction!

This was one where a particular bit of dialog in this episode clued me in on what was happening (which was then confirmed in the next episode). As I'm pretty sure they aired back-to-back it's not like I get any bragging rights for that, but I was still proud to have figured out of before the reveal. 🙂
