Here is my full length unedited reaction for One Piece! This only includes my reaction and thoughts. There is no intro. I always start my recordings at 00:00:00 of the show to make timecode syncing much easier and the timecode is included. I watch through any recaps (if any) and intros. But it always starts at 00:00:00. Must have your own copy to watch along with, since I can't offer that due to copyright laws. Streamer: Netflix

Nope you are not misreading things. Nojiko is fully aware of what Nami is doing and why. They hinted at it early in the episode when she was talking with Usopp and then showed it at the end. That is probably the biggest change plot wise between the live action and the anime/manga. I understand a bit why they made that change given that they didn't have a lot of time to develop Nojiko as a character. But I am still not happy about that change because I like Nojiko as a character and I felt like she was just kind of pushed to the side a bit in the live action.

I love that the Straw Hats are already so strong that a literal sea monster is reduced to a punching bag. Poor Moomoo. I remember I had a One Piece fighting game on the Gamecube where Arlong Park was a stage and it had Moomoo as a stage hazard that would occasionally flood the arena or let you fight on top of him. I'll always respect Zoro's ballsiness. Nami urges him to escape and he responds by cutting down a bunch of fishmen and plopping himself on Arlong's throne to wait. Even Usopp deserves some props for his heroics, shortsighted as they may have been.

Yeah Nojiko seems totally different here. I can understand why they went the direction they did in the live action, but I find her to be much more interesting here in the anime

I was so shocked when they cut to Zoro just sitting there after slaying all of them. Talk about a power move!
