Here is my full length unedited reaction for One Piece! This only includes my reaction and thoughts. There is no intro. I always start my recordings at 00:00:00 of the show to make timecode syncing much easier and the timecode is included. I watch through any recaps (if any) and intros. I feel like Luffy not listening to Nami's backstory is always a little misconstrued by fans. Luffy does care and is interested in Nami and the others and would listen to their backstories, the point here is the story is being offered up as a "once you hear this you'll know you have to go" so Luffy is saying no to even the possibility that this story would change his mind. He refuses to sit through an explanation of Nami's story and pain that's being labeled as a reason for him to turn his back on her. He's already made up his mind to help Nami, all he's waiting for is for her to ask him for that help since it's clearly obvious she isn't ready to accept his assistance yet. It's important that she gets to decide when she wants his help, and Luffy gets that, but he also isn't gonna entertain someone trying to convince him to leave using Nami's story which is hers to tell.
