Good questions! I’m always curious about Will’s technique (playing and writing) more than his personal life/ideologies as they’re pretty apparent in his genius lyrics. He modestly thought I meant flamenco strumming - but that intro to Vampire Reference - c’mon…! It’s incredible and way more than typical uke thrapping. I’ve learned it and LOVE playing it with a ton of compression and reverb. I can play most of his piano parts so maybe I can give you some hints as and when 👍🏻

Thank you, and I love that for you! I’ve only ever been a “percussionist” (I say that loosely, I mostly just play sloppy drum kit and the occasional timpani/various small instruments in the community band) so learning piano (which I suppose is percussion, technically?) is definitely a new challenge for me. I’m studying theory now and a small part of me was glad he told me he’s been playing for so many years AND he started off classically (gives me hope for myself, I guess). The intro to Vampire Reference is straightup beautiful. I do think he’s a bit too humble sometimes, lol. I also love that you said you love playing with reverb/compression because I think it’s so cool to see how other artists can interpret and have fun with the same piece! Maybe you could even consider uploading some covers?

we can watch previous livestreams? how? ive been trying to do that since i live on the other side of the earth and the timing usually isnt convenient for me, but its always shown that the livestream was over. is there usually a way to be able to watch it back again?
