Update: Don't Touch that Dial! (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone, hope you're doing well! I'm slowly but surely recovering from the beautiful horror that is touring, and am looking forward to spending 2025 focusing on renewal and creativity. The next couple months, however, I need to take a step back and do some behind-the-scenes tinkering. This means updating how my business operates, locking in what my plans are for touring, and of course updating this Patreon account.
After this month, we are officially out of live videos from 2022. However, as you know, I just played like 35 shows around the country, which means we're going to have more for you soon. However, the editing process could take a while, and I'd like to do some major updates and upgrades to the way this account works, so I'm going to be pausing billing on here come January 1st.
This means you don't have to do anything, you'll just stop being charged starting January 1st, and I'll reach back out when the account updates are finished before re-starting the billing. You don't need to delete your account or deactivate your payments, you'll be on the same cycle and everything, you just won't get charged for as long as I'm away. I'm going to guess the Patreon will be going full-steam again starting March, and when it does I'm excited to say it'll be bigger and better than ever.
There will be more videos, many of them in 4K, many of them featuring songs I haven't uploaded here before, and some of them likely including material from the shows outside of the music itself, some of them likely full-band. Maybe even some full concerts. There'll be more Q&A videos, with higher-quality audio, and blog posts will become a monthly guarantee as opposed to an occasional whim. I'll also be keeping you in the loop about writing, editing "Slouching Towards Branson," and any plans I have for touring, new music, and any other projects I have that I'm not ready to announce to the whole world quite yet. I may make other changes too, but every change that I make will be geared toward this being an affordable, extensive, and consistently-growing archive of live videos and a hub for fans of my work to stay more in the loop.
There's still a bit more to come this month, (Livestream Q&A is Saturday 12/21 at 6pm EST this month) but after that I'll be officially hitting pause on January 1st, and then I'll be back to update you when everything's ready! Can't wait to show you what I've been working on, super excited to be back and feeling good and getting ideas again. Thanks as always for your continued support, I'll talk to y'all Saturday!
Much love,
-ww
