Been a while since diving into the suggestion box requests, but when someone requests something that I also desperately want to draw it's hard to pass up! 🙏

Akihiko Yoshida has this really unique style to his artworks that I've always admired, but never really studied. One of the first hurdles is how to stylize the character designs to something that fits my sensibilities and own way of drawing. I decided to adopt some of the key features like soft eyes and very textured lineart with some of the hatching.

I've included some sketches of a few other outfits that I was considering as well!
