it's tomie, i got it cause it looked fucking sick :D

Also, question for those who have tattoos here, how long did it take for you to stop "feeling" the tattoo with your fingers? I've gotten one like a couple weeks ago and I can still feel the skin a little raised over some lines, is it normal?

The band-aid is so cute!!! Legit one of the things that pushed me over and got it done

christine

soo cute. What's the tatt above your new one? I think I saw you post one of your tatts on your Twitter a while ago but it got deleted. I thought that one was sick too

art for sure! edit: if you don’t have a scar diathesis(which means you are tend to have a scar higher than your skin and larger than the original wound), it should be fine within a few months, but the exact time may vary from personal physical differences that’s the information from a nerd who doesn’t have tattoos so it’s OK to correct me

Woah! That is some great ink Bloom ..love the duality! 👌🏻

getting the absolute worst tattoo fever from this and idk if that’s even a thing

Wow! That is absolutely beautiful! Hmmm well this just in my case, but I have two sets of tattoos about the size of an American dollar coin & they are both cheap tattoos I got on a Friday the 13th special. Unfortunately, I had a tattoo artist that was new and the lines show it…not straight & there is a certain line where the artist went over it multiple times and I can feel my skin is a bit raised because if that. I still feel it at that certain line—probably because of the technique that they did by going over it multiple times to clean up the messy line 😣 So….it’s normal for me lol but I’m pretty new to tattoos. I have no complaints about feeling my skin being a bit raised in that area.

Love the ink! Ive got a tat just under my collarbone. Im not sure exactly when i stopped “feeling” it, but its about a year old and cant feel it now, id say give it a few months🤙🏻

kmj

bro this is sooo fucking cool

Daisy

It’s a cool ass piece! Sometimes if the artist went a bit to deep it can raise the skin, even when it’s healed, kinda like a scar. I’ve got two on my wrists and they’re slightly raised but you can only tell when you run your fingers over them.

Caitlin

Looks sick 🤙🏼 any raised skin, if it didn’t make a scar or cause an allergic reaction, should take between 3-4 weeks to settle. It looks like you have heavy black in some places, so expect a little bit of that but it looks like it’s healing nicely.

mercury

for the moon one i have on the inside of my forearm it took about a month for the raised skin to go down. but it’s also a smaller piece.

Lia

THIS IS SO FUCKING COOL DUDE

Bro that’s sick! The placement and the art is 😘👌🏽. also i’m no tattoo expert but i feel that perhaps the bigger the tattoo and the darker the shading the longer you will have raised skin? I only have a few small ones with single lines and no shading and it went away within 2 weeks(ish). the itch was deadly tho lmao I hope it’s okay for u!

bea

THIS IS SO FUCKING COOL AAAAAAA i love the details. the lil bandaid, the eyebrow piercing

bea

also i had my first tat in 2017 and i still feel the skin raised over its lines! especially in my bolder ones. maybe it's my skin (i get scars really easily, but i like them all tbh) or maybe it's just normal

ashleyy

BLOOOOMMN?? THIS IS SICKKKKK OG MY

Raven

Omfg! This is so, so, SO good!

BloomingVA

alright! I will wait a little longer before officially starting to freak out then hahahaha

BloomingVA

thank you, I really loved the art! and also thaks for sharing how your experience went, I was hoping for this level of detail in peoples personal experiences

BloomingVA

yeeeeaaa, i was waiting for a while to be able to get this kind of thing done and it feels so worth it

Ellie Jellie

A distinguished Junji Ito enjoyer ☺️😏

Chanra

I love this, how long did it take? Such a fan of Junji Ito, the detail is really good.

[Editing my comment, bcz it was a bit vague—I’ll stop spamming your comment sections w random comments as I try to catch up and get through every post/ audio] Your tattoo artist definitely knew what they were doing; their artwork is very beautifully detailed, especially the line work/ shading and overall design…👌 In general, I think tat artists really make or break the art in the end, so consider yourself lucky! xP I’ve been meaning to start my sleeve tat for a while now but haven’t found the right artist yet (i. e., tat commitment issues)—I just hope I’m lucky enough to have a good experience >.o
