Hey guys!

So we got the custom drag bars installed and man do they look AMAZING!

However, if I'm honest, they are a lot more uncomfortable than I had anticipated...if it were my bike, I'd honestly put the stock bars back on BUT I want to know what you guys think?

Do you prefer the sexy looks or do you want the bike to ride better and be more comfortable.  No matter which we choose, I will send both sets of bars with the new owner as well so keep that in mind.

Enjoy the episode and let me know what ya think!

I’m kinda glad you’re returning to the original bars. Comfort is one of the points of this bike, and where it comes to the drag bars I’d always wondered if creating such an aggressive upper-body forward lean would cause too much wonkiness in the twisties on an essentially feet-forward bike. At least by providing both sets of bars you give the lucky winner a chance to find out if curiosity takes over. Part of the bad-assedness of the drag bars, IMHO, was that they appeared visually to bring everything down closer to level with the top of the tank, which is always an awesome look. I’m sure your mirrors will still help accomplish that to a degree on the original bars. Is it possible to rotate the original bars downward a bit to further accomplish that look, or does that screw up the hand positioning on the controls or create some other unpleasant consequence?

You can certainly rotate the stock bars down a little to get more of a drag style look while keeping more functionality for sure. And yes, the new owner will be able to play around with either bars to see which they prefer...I actually love the stock set up myself
