Next episode Ogre Waifus! Also Rimiru as you’ve probably guessed will be a badass by the end of the Season, but for me there are two moments in Season 2 where he really gets to flex his badasssery.

Whether or not Rimuru is challenged is actually a complicated question. ..... Why there aren't subtitles on the OP and ED after years is a good question. Makes me realize that years ago they used to do it somewhere, maybe not in the beginning when an episode first came out, but later on. I didn't notice when I stopped seeing it. It had to be on some channel or platform that I watched routinely. Either they stopped doing it, or I stopped watching that channel for whatever reason. They would alternate the romanization and the translation every other episode. ..... I appreciate your editing efforts, even though I'm watching this on Patreon. Some people have no sense of storytelling or drama or something because they even remove the good parts. And I think some people fail as a channel because they don't even speculate or ask questions, so what is there for the viewers to engage with? But don't worry, you're not them. ..... Shizu never fully merged with Ifrit, but the period in her life when she came closest was before she fought the Hero. After she had that sad incident with Pirino, she shut off her emotions and they only came back when the Hero accepted her. But Ifrit was keeping her from showing her age still. People kept leaving her all her life. .... The Unlimited Imprisonment encases the target in a complex number of dimensions. Great Sage has something called a computational space that, although large, isn't unlimited, and it's important to recognize that the Hero is quite a bit more powerful than almost everyone in the world, and her Skills reflect that. In comparison, Rimuru is a newbie. (You'll see the joke in that line later.) .... You've seen some cards but this series is a whole double deck. Also, there are arcs, but they aren't afraid of letting things simmer a long time. Just know that little is insignificant and there are very few throwaway characters, events, and lines. ..... There are a number of Skills Rimuru gets from Ifrit and from Shizu.

Rewatching this reaction and I thought I'd mention something no one ever seems to: Ranga was outside the entire time. He is a Tempest Direwolf. He definitely heard the entire exchange between Shizue and Rimuru. So he was totally faking the 'I'd know my master no matter what body' line he gave to the adventurers. 😂 Hey, fake it till you make sweet puppers. 🩷💛🩵
