Changed the name for this one quite late in the game, because I didn't quite get as far as I intended to, and it's still over 7K. Next chapter, for sure, will be "An Accord."

There are a lot of surprises in store for everyone, and we're only getting started with this Singularity. So much stuff is just waiting for me to get to writing it... Oh man, I'm so excited.

As a reminder, with the holidays coming up, I'll be taking the week of the 24th off, and we'll get back to normal for the week after that. Whatever you might or might not be celebrating, I hope you enjoy yourselves — and this chapter — in the meantime.

Ngl, I'm kinda hoping he clocks her as a time traveler. He has enough information that adding the holy Grail means it isn't entirely ridiculous for him to figure out.

Fun to watch Moriarty interact with the crew, and to see a serious analysis of the catastrophe that would be the solution to "Rika + Accord in the same room at the same time =" - though I *still* have a sense that we're just building up to the main event. (Sorry, I'm impatient when it comes to *good writing,* and *this* is as *addictive* as EMIYA's in-story cooking). Nice to see Ritsuka stepping up - and Taylor *SHOULD* tell him she's proud of him, later - not only has he earned it, it's a sign of growth for *her,* as well. She *does* want to be better, and doling out earnest praise when appropriate is something she's had trouble articulating, historically.

I’ve got a question raised about Taylor, sidestepping the issue of her having a personal account at 15? When I asked, she sidesteps might bring up. Heroes are paid for the work. However, the twins already know that the Taylor at this point in time is a super villain. We the readers I didn’t get to see the reaction to it. However, the entire point of the second meeting was to introduce that information to them in a controlled setting, where it wouldn’t be dramatic revealed by someone else. They even went over how they talked about the undersiders? I do love that the first thing Taylor does to prepare the twins to meet Accord is make sure that Rika never meets him.

I just thought of something In Fateverse, magic is powered by Mystery, which is basically everything humanity doesn't understand. And how parahuman powers work is only known to the Shards themselves, which means they are Mysterious to humanity, which means it is magic (according to Nasuverse).
