Tarot and palmistry — never again. Ugh, that took up so much time and effort, trying to get that right. I think I would make a terrible psychic.

Ahem. Anyway, some more Taylor-Amy bonding, yay! Also, a...kinda-sorta weird moment in the second half. I think a lot of people are going to be wondering what kind of purpose it serves.

But that's the fun, isn't it? Making you guys guess?

There are a couple of things in this chapter that I hope are subtle enough that none of you actually puts the pieces together, but my editor thinks that quite a few of you will. I'm hoping he's wrong, but it's not like I could remove the clues without making things totally opaque, and some of them are clues I actually can't remove without gutting the scene, so...

So I just started reading, but since I'll likely forget if I don't point it out now, I'm pretty sure you meant 'entirely uninterrupted' and not 'entirely interrupted' in the second sentence.

Nice. Personally a little bummed about the lack of healer Panacea with awesome Irish Kung fu action but still satisfying.

Nothing says she can't change her mind later. Also I know it's been done a hundred times but I'm guessing that that was Contessa furthering a Path, given that she was described as being Mediterranean. And for no other reason.

Contessa? When her name was Simone? "One Who Hears", and one of the more common names used for the Simurgh. That is also overused, but it was m first guess.
