I went through most of this in the past couple of hours, surprisingly. I thought I was gonna have to stop and finish later, then deliver tomorrow, but I tore through this with astounding speed once I put myself to it.

Anyway. A continuation of the first, picking up not too long after the previous one left off. Here, we get to see another look at Serenity, and a good, long look at what being a vampire really means

There are some teasers about Serenity's backstory, here, but they're all hidden. Good luck finding them.

For those who catch it, yes, there are parallels between Serenity's turning and Taylor's, and Serenity's birthday was chosen specifically to strengthen them. Most of them, though, were quite on accident.

Its interesting, but I feel like Taylor believes her too quickly. The only evidence she has that she's telling the truth is that she enjoyed the taste of blood and feels thirsty, but as far as Taylor knows she's lying about it being blood, it was just a red liquid that doesn't smell or taste anything like blood has before now. She hasn't seen her new appearance/lack of a reflection, burned in sunlight, or used any of her new powers.

That might be a good point to work into part 3, if and when it's written. In fact, it might be a good place to *start* part 3, with Taylor saying something like, "I've been thinking. About what you said. I don't believe you."
