Update (Patreon)

Whew. The last two weeks were busy. Like, came out of nowhere.

More real life family stuff happened. Visited my grandfather, my aunt went back in and then came back out of the hospital. For the latter, I have a kind of resigned, "If you'd kept your promise to me 20 years ago when I was a kid and asked you to stop smoking, then none of these things would've happened to you," sort of feeling.

The main distraction was a commission I did, though. It took about twice as long as it should have, because I spent most of an entire week doing and redoing the background, because I couldn't get it up to my satisfaction. Eventually, I decided to cheat, because going the whole nine yards would've meant upgrading the cost, and the commissioner had given me the impression that their budget wouldn't allow for it.

Definitely a learning experience, though.

Now, with that out of the way, I can get back to writing. Sorry, everyone, but most of that time was actually spent working on that commission, with some breaks here and there to destress and play some Kingdom Hearts 3.

What can I say? I'm a perfectionist. My linework has to be friggin' perfect, or else it bothers the crap out of me.
