Now that we're in so deep and most of the players have been shown, what's your opinion of the Singularity as a whole?

I like septem but I'm a bit disappointed that taylor doesn't get more to do. I understand that as a master and (normal) human she has no business fighting against servants but seeing as in worm she also had no business to be in many of the fights she was in as a mere bug controller I think Taylor is a bit under utilized. I dont know if it's part of your plan but you could try to include servants based on worm characters that will have Taylor to actual interact more and forcing her to deal with her past? You already teased that there is a khepri servant and while this would be far to soon in the story to introduce such a servant there is no real reason why there wouldnt be other servant based on worm characters like some of the more infamous slaughterhouse 9 members or the triumvirat. She shines in the parts of the story that aren't fights but conversations but in those everytime an interesting topic like Taylors past or her problem with Fu comes up it gets only teased and than dropped relatively fast. I hope with the start of the dream cycle this will change since the servants (Aife) will have a reason to actual directly question Taylor about it. On the actual questions of this pole: I think the inclusion of oc servants is great. It changes the story from beeing more of a novelization of the game + Taylor to a standalone story.

I'm liking Septem, yes! And i definitely feel like the OC servants helped; to be fair, tho, I'm also unfamiliar with most of FGO, so I just assumed that you were very good at voicing preexisting characters. ALSO, i absolutely love(d) the interactions between Taylor and the servants, especially Arash. It might not be authorial intent, but there's an intimacy there that's almost romantic.

I'm glad the story's not just a rehash of the games and overall like the changes. The OC servants have been a bit hit-or-miss for me, though I think in general it's fine to include some. I liked Aife and the Pax Romana idea is a neat plot point, but Marcus fell a bit flat after the build-up.

In hindsight, it might have been better to do the interlude from his perspective instead of Boudica's. It's just that I try to avoid showing the villains plotting precisely because I want to keep their plans secret instead of blabbing them all over the place.

I can't promise that I'm going to start bringing in Worm characters as Servants. I can't say that Taylor's problems will be handled swiftly or even soon. This is a long, slow buildup, and I might screw that up in the end, but I want to tease it out and handle it over the course of the next few Singularities and bring it to a head closer to the end. Before Camelot, though. Or Babylonia. We're not going to have *everything* about Taylor's past resolved by either of those, but that will be the point where she has to face it - or rather, can't afford to hide it from the others anymore. I don't want to spoil it, but look forward to the second half of the story being where uncomfortable things start getting confronted.

Then, if they felt like characters that fit with the setting to someone who isn't familiar with either the OCs or the originals, I've mostly accomplished the goal. Thank you.

Definitely doing nice so far! Many of the characters have been great, even to the point of convincing me to look them up to make sure whether or not they're actually OCs or not (I'm very familiar with FGO, but the Nasuverse has a lot of other properties that I'm not familiar with). I like where the story has been going so far and I'm very excited to see more!
