Wouldn't Marco Polo or Christopher Columbus make more sense? I mean, AFAIK wasn't Nemo created by Jules Verne? I mean, both Marco and Chris were explorers of the ocean.

Nemo *does* exist in canon FGO, though, and his submarine is really more relevant to "under the sea" shenanigans than Marco Polo. Columbus is also canon, but he's, uh, kinda problematic.

Now why would Columbus be problematic? Sure he's a bit of a shit in canon but even still. Could also go with Captain Cook as a nod to the aussies. Magellan is actually someone I am surprised hasn't come up yet in FGO

I'm honestly surprised Moby Dick has never been used. Nasu himself said that it's "basically a superweapon," so that's a confirmation that it exists, and if it does, by extension, so does Ahab. Also, Davy Jones. Although he might have been leery of Disney coming after him, so that's probably why that doesn't happen.

I was just thinking Moby Dick. I mean, he could be the Primate Murder of the Ocean. Hell...what about Jonah? That'd be trippy AF. Especially given Nasu has sort of implied the Christian God is rocking around somewhere. Hell, with GoW: Ragnarok...what about Jormungandr?
