Maybe. I'm almost done with the first arc of the story - somewhere between 20k and 30k words, total, although it may end up slightly larger - and I'd like to get through the second arc, too, before posting any of it (give myself some breathing room).

If everything continues at the current pace...maybe a few weeks? A month? Six weeks, at the long end? It really depends upon how cooperative the second arc winds up being, because Worm in general is unfamiliar territory and arc 2 will involve stepping temporarily into a police drama - also unfamiliar territory.

If everything goes fast enough, though, I might make it through arc 3 before anything gets posted.

Once I do start posting it, though, I plan to be pacing the release so that one chapter is released per chapter I finish, meaning that if I'm starting arc 3 when Essence gets released, then the second chapter to be released will be posted once I've finished the first chapter of arc 3. If I'm going fast enough, it might be one chapter released for every two chapters finished. On the other hand, it might be paced more consistently, and you'll get a chapter every other Friday or something. I'm still thinking about it.

Naturally, Patrons get the right of first perusal and hold some timed exclusivity. Once that runs out, the chapter will be released into the wild, and everyone else can read it.
