I wanted to add on to the discussion about the dating rumors that was happening because, yes, there were a lot of people upset about the situation for silly reasons (shipping, fanwars, etc.) which is ridiculous. But the main thing here was that it was only brought up because the two of them were literally being stalked around Paris/France by "fans" and that's why we try to discourage any kind of acknowledgment of it. There's been a big effort for the last couple years especially by ARMY on Twitter to push back against this kind of behavior e.g. stalking/following the boys, swarming them in public, showing up to airports, sharing their location, taking pics/vids of them without their knowledge or consent. Of course, they should be able to date whoever they choose and have the support of their fans and the people who claim to love them, but none of them have shared any information about their relationship status with us by their own volition and, as a fandom, if there is something they want us to know, they will tell us themselves. This specific alleged relationship is also a sore subject because the entire rumor has been created around leaked and fabricated personal photos and content from paparazzi and sasaengs (or stalker "fans") none of which has ever been acceptable in ARMY circles. Not sure if anyone will see my comment but I wanted to add my two cents here since we've been having this conversation in regards to various events and situations since like 2020/2021 when the fandom really started blowing up with new people who weren't aware of the way we conduct ourselves to respect and protect the boys' privacy and safety.
