It’s Arcane Wednesday and my reactions to the last three episodes of season 1 are dropping TODAY!!

The Boy Savior

Caitlyn and Vi meet an ally in Zaun's streets and head into a frenzied battle with a common foe; Viktor makes a dire decision.

The ending sequence was phenomenal. This is the first time I’ve really felt a lot of hope for the people of the underground since we lost Vander. I really hope we haven’t lost anyone in this episode. That would be too heartbreaking.

When Powder walk on the bridge it's same song that she was singing in the first episode on that same bridge in the introduction.

Okay, to be fair... the firelight bugs aren't _actually_ on shimmer XD They are just like this world's version of fireflies. Now, getting into the heavier parts of my comment on this episode, this one is my _favorite_ episode of the series, and it made Ekko and the Firelights my favorite characters in a heartbeat. Piltover and Zaun aren't a heaven and hell dichotomy, they're more like... lawful evil versus chaotic evil from Dungeons and Dragons. Both are corrupt, both are hungry for wealth and power, and both are willing to hurt anyone they can get away with in order to have that. Ekko and the Firelights represent the one faction that is only concerned with growth and providing a safe place. The fight between Ekko and Jinx at the end is one that I simultaneously love, and that breaks my heart every time I see it. Ekko and Jinx were... friends when they were both children, before the events of episode 3. They were the youngest, smallest, and yet most brilliant of the kids within their community, and they were very close. That duel that Ekko remembers is a game they must have played hundreds of times as kids, and he uses the past to help him win it when it really counts. I think that, now that you're done with the series, it would be good to do a follow-up video, where you watch a few things like the Get Jinxed music video, the Seconds video for Ekko, the Enemy official music video (which was animated by the studio behind Arcane), and the teasers/trailers for season 2. Enemy, in particular, drives home the tragedy of the Ekko/Jinx fight here.
