Hello everyone!!! Since we just wrapped up with Stranger Things S1 and WandaVision will be ending very soon, we need some new shows to watch! Please comment below what shows you think I should add to the upcoming poll! Also, keep in mind that I don't enjoy scary shows. (Stranger Things is at my limit ❤️)

I'll be watching The Falcon and The Winter Solider, since that's the next show in phase 4 of the MCU!

The new poll show will be posted on Friday!

Darren P

Ted Lasso!

Von Jackson

Ozark - Netflix

Cowboy

Succession and Severance!

Tainin

Orphan Black

Haley Mastronardi

The Last of Us came second in the last poll, so it only makes sense. I wouldn’t mind Ted Lasso either though.

TheEbonyElephant

How are you with anime? Deathnote is an interesting one.

James Allen

Abbott Elementary is great comedy. Gravity Falls and Avatar the Last Airbender are fantastic animated series. Only Murders in the Building is a good mystery show, too. Also, because I must, I recommend Agents of Shield - my absolute favourite show.

Onno Smits

Ted Lasso is totally your style!

Steve J

+1 on Expanse. None of my favorite reactors have ever watched it and though it often makes it to the polls it always loses out to the more mainstream popular shows.

Diiirk706

Hill House( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Brad Nelson

Game of Thrones (8 seasons-fantasy genre) Fringe (5 seasons-paranormal investigation genre) Dexter (8 original run seasons-thriller genre) Chuck (5 seasons-spy comedy genre) The Mandalorian (3 seasons currently-Star Wars genre) The Office (though it seems you’ve likely already watched)

Lee Aguera

Band of Brothers. Its short, 10 episodes plus a follow up documentary, so you'll be finished soon. Same with Firefly. It's some 13 episodes and a movie. Again, pretty short compared to jumping into a 5 seasons, 25 episodes per, series. Hmmm...how do you feel about watching animated shows? 'Cause the Netflix Castlevania show is pretty rad

Aendery2k

I am going out on a bit of a limb here.....Andor. I know, anything Star Wars is hard digest because it is not self contained, but the writing in it is so good.

AzraRillian

I definitely would second Daredevil, since it's relevant for the future of your MCU journey, but Ted Lasso is just such a wholesome show I can't recommend enough

Aendery2k

I will also throw out a second for Severance!

Alvin Baca

The expanse!

Jgeir

You prob seen these but if not: Breaking Bad or Suits!

Triene (Katie)

How much Star Wars have you seen? If you’ve seen the original trilogy at least, watch the mandolorian!

Matt Spring

+ 1 to daredevil Arcane is also amazing

Andrew

Avatar the last airbender!!

Eissen Nava

Ted Lasso The Boys Peaky Blinders

Wreath35

The Expanse, I haven't watch it but heard it's very good. Other ones: Lucifer, Loki, Chernobyl, Game of thrones or House of the dragon (if you like these ones), What if? (Marvel Studios).

Spencer Kee

Severance, Arcane, and Agents of Shield are my top shows I’d love to rewatch with you

Alexander Alayon Jr

Avatar the last airbender ✨️ its so up your alley Jax and continues into Korra!

Dorival Jr

Stranger Things S2, Chernobyl, Dark, End of the f***ing World

Al Batista

Buffy The Vampire Slayer!!! Don't worry, it's not scary. Fantastic characters and writing. The first season is a little rough, but it's gold after that. It's seven seasons, so I suggest if you do it, take a break after each one. Fingers crossed. :)

Anna

Avatar the last Airbender, Trollhunters

Joshua Foley

The Last of Us!!!! It is top 3 favorite shows of all time for me. Now I know it's a "Zombie" show, but it's primarily a beautiful drama series. Barely any jump scares, if any. Also it's only 9 Episodes, a perfect size for reaction channel!

Phil Stubblefield

Firefly The Expanse Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Jermaine Lee

Game of Thrones (if you haven't seen it) Loki, The Leftovers, The Haunting of Hill House,

Ali D

So many already mentioned but I’m going to say them again! Severance Black Bird (mini-series) Game of Thrones The Last Kingdom The Office Modern Family Friday Night Lights Heartstopper

George Perez

I know it's a long shot but....Smallville

Aldo Gonzales

Jax, you need to watch Black Widow before going into Falcon and Winter Soldier. As for shows, perhaps Cobra Kai after you watch the Karate Kid films.

AZalan

Daredevil - great characters & story The Last of Us - because I haven't seen it and want to :)

Dragon

Doctor Who

Abe Johnson Jr.

...a longer shot...Peacemaker...but you'd need to watch The Suicide Squad movie first...believe it or not..John Cena is pretty good..

Kendall Brown

The boys, breaking bad, Vikings, the walking dead (more of a drama than scary), or loki (season 2 is the best) Thought this after making the original comment. Hell on wheels is pretty good show too if you like westerns

TT AM

Watchmen Hbo. It’s a limited series so only one season so not a very big commitment.

Michael Morris

Actually, Falcon and the Winter Soldier was out before Black Widow. It is Hawkeye she needs to watch it before

Aldo Gonzales

Nah, story-wise Black Widow is the way to go. Then Hawkeye. Then, Falcon & Winter Soldier.

Flexwave

Arcane (one of the best series ever ) The expanse Firefly Game of thrones Chuck One I never see from reactors Heroes

Andrew McGeehin

Lucifer... its cheesey but I could see you getting into it. Something that's a little different that falls in between movies and series is Black Mirror on Netflix. Each episode is a self contained story. They will definitely give you something to think about and react to... and has great actors playing interesting characters.

Horace Cocroft

Since you did WandaVision, I think Loki is a good pick. Falcon and the Winter Soldier isn't as innovative as Loki or WandaVision, but since you like both Falcon and Bucky so much, this one is kind of a must watch for you. The show really digs into both characters and their relationship with the Captain America mythos.

Marty McGee

Ted Lasso - Feel good and funny (you don't have to know anything about soccer to enjoy it) Dark - mysterious and mind-bending (the production is a little creepy at times, definitely not as creepy as Stranger Things) Firefly - fun, sci-fi Battlestar Galactica (from 2000's) - sci-fi, drama, political intrigue Ever thought of doing shorter sitcom-style shows like Brooklyn 99 or Parks & Rec?

Harold

Well Stranger things Season 2 would be a nice idea so it is still fresh in our and your mind :') but if it is necessary to suggest a whole new show i'd bring Daredevil, or The last of Us ( if you know just a bit you might think it's a horror show but it actually isn't worse than Stranger things aha !

Steven Hok

Games of Thrones, Daredevil, The Expanse

Abner Aranivar

Daredevil, The Punisher, Sons Of Anrachy, The Boys & Vikings

Domo

The Arrow, Reacher, GLEE, Greys Anatomy, Lucifer, 9-1-1

Rigs216

Avatar the last airbender

Andy Smith

I agree with you to an extent. One channel I subbed to lost me as they started watching the walking dead from season 1, and it was pretty much just that. I think TV shows work when they are one or a limited number of series. Certainly where a series is a complete story. I'd watch reactions to the MCU TV series (most of them anyway lol) and something like ted lasso, reacher, even one piece but some series are just too long to get into.

Anna Kyruin

Doctor Who and The Expanse

Aendery2k

I love everything Mike Flannigan does, but it would probably fall under the too scary column.

Devin House

Last of us Viking Season 2 stranger things

TwistedMagoo

Sci Fi - The Expanse, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly // Historical Fiction - The Last Kingdom // Fantasy - Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, The Last of Us (dystopian).... All would be great choices, but if you're continuing the MCU watchalong, I would say you've got to start Daredevil sooner rather than later.

Aendery2k

A great choice. Only 15 episodes and a movie. Won't require the kind of time that some of these multi-season shows would.

Anthony Donato

HBO's Last Of Us, Chernobyl, and Band Of Brothers.

Milton Pires

The boys, it’s awesome and you’re gonna love it

AGBmom

The last of us

eladrin22

The boys and the last of us are both great. Love agents of SHIELD too.

Outcast Spartan

There is a show called Arcane, or Blue Eye Samurai, that are both adult themed animation shows both one season long right now, you might enjoy?

Outcast Spartan

Avatar the Last Airbender is also great.

David Eldridge

Justified, Deadwood, the Netflix Marvel shows (which are now on Disney+), One Piece.

Mannygogou

Jessica Jones (this can be stand-alone, 13 episodes) The OA (2016) mystery suspense sci-fi drama

Andy Smith

As someone else mentioned and just a suggestion, but I would be careful on TV series selections and how much time you want to put into it. Some shows although fantastic and I would love to see you react to, they can be a massive investment. I am guessing most of us here binge watch these shows, so say something like PARC's and rec, the expanse etc are long shows with many series. For me it can be an issue when a reactor starts a show, watches the first maybe second season and then moves on to something else. Shows with limited series or short episodes where you can watch two or three episodes at once are good, I prefer your last couple of wondavision reactions where you do 2 episodes at once for example. You started stranger things, I am sure the people who watched your reactions to season 1 want to see you watch the rest of them before committing to another longer series show. Others may disagree with me, just my experience and feedback I have seen on other channels.

Avatar: The Last Airbender

AJ Franklin

No she should watch all mcu movies and shows in release order to prevent spoilers

Mannygogou

Scrubs (2001) - funny sitcom set in a hospital, 30min episodes Fringe (2008) - funny and curious, mysterious and astonishing, 1-hr episodes Rick & Morty (2013) - funny sitcom about alternate lives - animated, 22min episodes

Avalon Perry

This is hard! There are so many good ones! Some I think you would really enjoy, are Once Upon a Time, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Warrior Nun, Marvel's Runaways, Lost Girl, and The Wheel of Time. These all have some sort of magical/fantasy element and really great storylines, so I would be interested to see your reaction to any of them. Thanks for all your hard work Jax!

Aendery2k

Before voting, I'd be interested to know what you have already seen. I feel like reactions are generally better on the first watch.

Andy Eggroll

PLEASE watch Ryan Reynold's "Welcome to Wrexham'???

Jim

Most of what I’d suggest is creepy or scary and or violent. I don’t think you’re into that if I remember correctly. Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll be glad to help

Jgeir

I LOVE The Last of Us! Might be just a tad too scary for her tho since Stranger Things is already on the limit😅 But sure would be fun to watch *evil laught*🤪

Haley Mastronardi

This whole time she has been watching in release order. It should stay that way. Why would she all of a sudden go chronologically? This is the best way to avoid spoilers.

Jgeir

+1 for Dexter and Chuck! Two of my all time fav shows :O

Jgeir

Not sure if a football club documentary is the vibe we're at here :P

Tom Evans

I agree with this. I've seen react channels get dominated by long anime series with hundreds of episodes, and it's hard to stay invested in them even when they try to mix in other things.

Andy Eggroll

Why not? It's still entertaining. And it's different. Everybody does the same reactions to the same shows over and over. Could be cool to see a reaction to something real.

Steve J

yup, last few I subscribed to I just had to drop because it was months and months of things I was never going to watch (even though they'd tease me with a good movie thrown in the mix, lol).

Luis

The Mandalorian, you will like

The Dingo

Falcon & The Winter Soldier is the next MCU show :)

Getoff Mylawn

I would love to see you getting ALL the feels from watching Ted Lasso! Also, one of the main charcaters always says "Football is lamby!" Or something like that.

Getoff Mylawn

Dont watch The Boys or Invincible. Both great shows but incredibly violent. The Last of Us is really good and not any scarier than Stranger Things.

Sage Crofcheck

Don't forget about Loki, Jax

Mannygogou

Queen's Gambit (2020) 7 episodes story, the struggle to be the best Elementary (2012) a story of obsessions and solving mysteries

Outcast Spartan

I would love for someone to react to Welcome to Wrexham, don't think anyone has done it yet. But not sure Jax is the right person for it.

Snax

i don't think any kdrama is going to win a poll with your followers, but my vote would be for anything on that list. for something in english, i would like to recommend lost in space - netflix the umbrella academy - netflix brooklyn 99 - hulu avatar the last airbender/legend of korra - netflix

Andy Eggroll

Football (soccer) fans would love her for it I think. There's plenty of people reacting to music, movies, games, TV shows.....why isn't anyone doing sports related? It's a huge opportunity.

Alan Kobb

I agree with a few of the suggestions. I think The Queen's Gambit is really your kind of show, and it takes you quite a bit off of the super-hero track. It's a mini-series, so it's not a long commitment. If you want to expand into the Star Wars universe more, The Mandalorian is a really fun and interesting heroic drama with some excellent acting.

Dave

Only Murders in the Building

JustGibbs

I know it was in the poll a while back but Ted Lasso is great comedy and a really feel-good show. If you're planning to do all MCU shows Loki will come up, but if you decide to pair it back; I'll highly recommend that keep Loki on the list. Some of the others are hit-or-miss, but Loki is GREAT!

Patrick Egan

I've seen some suggestions for shows that are 7 or more full-length seasons, those can really monopolize a recording schedule, either it's all-(insert long series here) all the time, or you'll space them out and it'll take years to finish them. My suggestions: Firefly(streaming on Hulu, available for purchase and possibly for rent elsewhere) - Yes, every reactor seems to do this show at some point, but it's a very fun show that is easily Joss Whedon's best work. In addition to the 14 episodes of the show, there is a 2005 movie called Serenity which follows up. Be SURE to watch the movie AFTER the episodes :) Home Before Dark(Apple TV+) - It's not sci-fi, there's no crazy concept, it's just a really well-told murder mystery focused on a family that moves back to the dad's hometown and their 10-year old daughter(a budding journalist) starts looking into an unsolved mystery from her dad's childhood. The writing is excellent and the performances are all top-notch, especially from Brooklynn Prince who plays the girl. It's two seasons of 10 episodes each. Even if you don't react to it, I recommend it to everyone. Sherlock(I don't know if it's streaming anywhere, you'd likely have to buy it on Amazon or some other platform) - Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are delightful in this adaptation of Doyle's famous detective. It's four seasons of three 90-minute episodes each, with a bonus episode between seasons 3 and 4. Ted Lasso(Apple TV+) - If you haven't seen this one Jax, I think it'd be right up your alley. Full of laughs and full of heart. Three seasons of 10-12 episodes each. The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance(Netflix) - This one is the opposite of Firefly, you'll want to START with the 1982 movie :) The series serves as a prequel to the movie, and it's one of the most beautiful shows I've ever seen. I know you're continuing with the MCU shows on Disney+, and while F & WS isn't my favorite, I'm REALLY looking forward to watching Hawkeye and Moon Knight with you when you get to them :)

Doug Watson

I'm sure people have already suggested the MCU shows. So I 'd like to suggest, Gravity Falls, Brooklyn 99, Futurama, Community, all of these are on Hulu except B99. If you like Star Wars, and have watched the films, I'd suggest the Star Wars shows starting with The Mandalorian.

Patrick Egan

Okay, everyone recommending she watch The Boys, are you TRYING to scar her for life?!? :)

Eddie

Ted Lasso for sure. Also, you should add Silo on the list for later after season 2 airs.

Julian G

The Boys has been MY favorite show in recent years.

PKS

Reacher

NotMyRealName

Stranger Things - Season 2 (Netflix) Mythic Quest (Apple TV) Mare of Easttown - it is kind of dark but not really scary. (HBO now called MAX) Arrested Development (Netflix) Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Hulu)

Richard Maurer

Sandman. Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Invincible.

Richard Maurer

I'd rather see a great long series like Buffy or Naruto than a bunch of mediocre short series.

Future_Boy85

Daredevil, the Sopranos, Sons of Anarchy, Avatar the Last Airbender, the Big Bang Theory, What We Do in the Shadows

James Lou

Stranger Things Season 2 (Netflix)

Andy Smith

I totally understand that. I'd love a long series too, the problem is time investment. The MCU for example is nearly 69 hours total currently, but the films are varied and one reaction a week doesn't dominate the channel. Buffy is over 100 hours long which is a substantial time investment for a show that is no way near as popular as the MCU. Don't get me wrong I love Buffy but let's be honest a series that long has a number of filler episodes as do most long series. Same with something like supernatural. Doing a reaction requires far more organisation, energy and focus from the reactor than just binge watching a show, unless Jax is doing this full time it can be really challenging. Currently Jax is releasing 4 or 5 reactions a week, dedicating a quarter of reactions a week to get through a show that would take years to finish that isn't as popular as say the MCU and isn't in that format with varied characters and stories could be detrimental to the channel. Polls do help to gauge interest but they can be flawed too, people vote for something they really want to see but then get burn out when it is a long series. Just my opinion and based on the feedback I have seen on other channels. A show doesn't have to long to be good, and often work far better for a reaction channel.

Ordthelion

Reacher. First the two movies with Tom Cruise, then the series.

Domo

I haven’t seen many people who liked the movies (i like them), so i hope she does

Quarty

Ted Lasso Sherlock (the BBC TV show 2010) I wonder if you'd enjoy Arcane, I'm not sure, it's brilliant but you haven't done anything like it.

Casen Jamvo

Firefly Battlestar Galactica The Mandalorian Avatar: The Last Airbender Daredevil Psych Cobra Kai (the Karate Kid films first tho) Breaking Bad/ Better Call Saul The Good Place Sherlock Brooklyn Nine Nine Marvel's Agents of Shield Ted Lasso Galavant New Girl Broadchurch Lost Community X-Files

Ted Lasso

Dax

The shows I would want to see you react to would be: Firefly Sense8 Reacher Sandman Avatar The Last Airbender The Last of Us - I also do not enjoy scary or horror genre and I absolutely loved this show. Arcane

Richard Maurer

Long series can also make a channel when they are popular enough. Both the Normies and RTV were basically put on the map by Naruto. And if Jax were to di a longer series like Buffy she could always do it with the understanding that if it's not performing well for her that she could bail on it. I always see these comments whenever any longer series is suggested and I can't help but feel in many cases it's more about the commenters having other series they want to get to rather than actual concern for the channel's wellbeing.. I'm not saying that's definitely the case here, but just that I always suspect ulterior motives.

Richard Maurer

Sandman would be great. A series that did well for Netflix that has been strangely overlooked by most reactors.

Andy Smith

Those channels mentioned are different to an individual reactor like Jax. Same with the homies for example that have groups or different people reacting to things. Channels like Natalie Gold Vkunia etc are lone warriors who often don't have time to dedicate to long series is all I am saying. Nothing wrong with reacting to a long series if someone is prepared to put the time and effort needed. I would love to see a channel do reactions to shows like DS9, Supernatural etc but understand it is difficult to do. A lot of newer shows like the boys and other big streaming shows tend to only be 8 episodes per series, unlike the older series like DS9 and Buffy that have 20 plus episodes per series. Siting down and recording 4 two hour sessions and then editing is probably a lot less work than having to do the same for a 22 episode series. If Jax or someone wants to dedicate their time and commit to a long series they should go for it for sure, there will be an audience out there, it's just my opinion and wanting to share experience from what I have seen on other channels. And yes it is for the channel wellbeing, there can be a lot of negative feelings from a community when a reactor starts a long series that is either not that popular within the community or the reactor stops after 1 or 2 seasons due to burn out and never finished the story. I'm pretty sure this isn't Jax's full time job, happy to be corrected. Your point is valid that long series can work well for a channel, as is mine that they can also have a detrimental effect. It's for Jax to decide what she wants to watch. People can give suggestions and advice, she can then choose.

Chris_The_Gray

Firefly The Last of Us Community Psych The Boys/Invincible (you'll be fine!) The Band of Brothers The Pacific Chernobyl Battlestar Galactica The Expanse Reacher

The Last of Us Firefly Ted Lasso Daredevil

Julie Chittenden

Buffy Firefly Schitt's Creek There are others but with a lot of episodes.

Dax

Yeah, it's kind of an odd phenomenon. There are a handful of shows out there that remain overlooked but for no real discernable reason. Sandman is perfect for reacting as well. It has great actors, is based on fairly popular source material and doesn't have a massive amount of episodes and just the one season. I'm hoping to see more people reacting to it eventually.

Uncle Phoenix

Honestly, I believe that a hundred years from now people will still be watching Star Wars, Firefly, and HBO shows (Band of Brothers, Chernobyl, etc)

Uncle Phoenix

Smallville is such a great representation of that time in US Culture. Probably the last show to do that.

Lee Aguera

And Marvel. I know its struggling a little now, but the first 3 phases is top tier entertainment. People in 2100 will still be cheering for the Avengers Assemble scene in Endgame.

Uncle Phoenix

Justified and Reacher. (Great shows made from great source material)

Oliver Higgs

Please say you’ll be doing subsequent seasons of Stranger Things… 🙏

Oliver Higgs

Other Top Tier shows: Ted Lasso, The Americans, Breaking Bad.

Lamar Smith

You’ll need to do Chernobyl - LOTS of Kleenex but it’ll change your life. Two that are a little off the beaten path but both HBO’s and very well done: ‘Generation Kill’ a Rolling Stone reporter is embedded during the invasion of Iraq with the elite 1st Marine Recon ‘Rome’ if the ancient world interests you. Caesar, Pompey, Cleopatra. Really well-shot. They hired actual butchers for the scenes in the marketplace.

Kay Douglas

Also, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a fantastic choice for comedy

Schitts Creek maybe? Or if you want something quicker, what about an English show like the IT Crowd, or the fabulous Blackadder

Richard Maurer

I basically agree, but there's also burn out on a channel if the reactor is doing constant shorter series. While factions within their patrons support these shows enough to win polls, others can get frustrated with series after series that they care nothing about. This happened recently on Natalie Gold's channel with a number of her patrons (including myself) voicing their displeasure at having nothing to watch for months on end as flavor of the month series kept dominating the polls, some reducing their support (like myself) or even bailing on her channel entirely. I'd prefer a balance between long and short series myself.

Ed Scoglio

Community if you're looking for more of a comedy is excellent!

mckenzie smith

Jax some really good shows I recommend are, 1. Avatar the last air bender/legend of Korra 2.Arcane 3. The Umbrella Academy 4.Lucifer 5. Avatar(It’s a movie series that is still in progress but it’s really good) I hope you find some good shows to watch, love you and Lamby! ❤️🐑

Lamar Smith

McKenzie and I are watching something terribly inappropriate but REALLY funny….. Umbrella Academy….. How can you not adore dysfunctional Avengers in a dance number to Tiffany’s “I think we’re alone now,” in SE1:01?

Dan Hughes

i suggest Burn Notice

Tanya O'Donnell

And the amazing scene with 5 to Istanbul (not Constantinople) is also a favourite of mine!
