No spoilers but I will say this season gets more lore heavy

We watched the tapestry episode where she goes into the book guys eye she goes into a room of a bunch of queens that ruled in the past

Here we see eclipsa and is says she married a monster and abandoned her kingdom for him, and it the picture we see her sitting on the hand of a giant red monster

I want to also add that Toffee also killed Eclipsas mother. You can see two skulls on his shoulders that has Moons and Eclipsa cheek marks to show it’s their mothers You can see Eclipsa is still frozen in the past ep. When star and Marco got crystallized you can see her in the background in s2 Ep 18 and we can see her in the crystal in the s2 intro Then for Eclipsa we get something small in S2 ep 12 i(nto the wand) each queen has a little saying and Eclipsas is “Eclipsa queen of darkness to a mewmen king was wed but too a monster for her love and away from mewnie flead” S2 ep 16(Baby) the little cat thing stated that stars power is up there with eclipses level and her dad said “Monster Love” S2 ep 13(Page Turner) Star and Marco look into eclipsas chapter I believe that’s it at least from what I remember

Eclipsa haw been mentioned in two episodes I think. First S2 EP 23: 'Into the Wand' Star goes into her wand to look for something that doesn't belong (Which is Toffee's finger) and goes into the grandma room which is filled with Star's grandma's and past queens of Mewni's tapestries. Star read Eclispa's which said "Eclipsa, Queen of Mewni, to a Mewman king was wed. But took a monster for her love and away from Mewni fled." Second mention of Eclipsa was during S2 EP 30: 'Baby' where Star gets evaluated with her magic. The little kitty fairy says Star is very advanced and she has never seen something like that since Queen Eclipsa. I'd keep paying attention to what's about to happen tho because this is by far my favorite arc in this show
