Also Mable believed Stan because he said the word “Please” if you remember back in s1 when Mable was the boss. Stan had issues saying the word please even losing money because of it and this time he said it so that’s why she believed him

Yeah they say in ep 1 that this is the first summer they're spending with Stan. I think they only knew OF him but never actually met him in person until this summer
