Christene they're not mad that she did what she did, they're mad that she LIED about it to everyone who believed in her, confided in her, these are people that dedicated their lives and causes and morals in this person. Once you put yourself in that position, you can't get mad at people for being mad that they lied about it. You cannot. Steven based his entire identity, his entire personality, morals, everything on this view of his Mom as Rose the rebel leader. You have to understand, this is identity crisis level for him. To find out this image, this idea you've been building yourself up to becoming, wasn't even who she said she was. That's world shattering for him.

While I do think Rose did what was best, saving the planet by fake-dying and all that, I think it's perfectly valid for the other crystal gems to be mad at her for lying. I think it just accentuates how we can't define people by just one action they do because nobody is perfect. You can say Rose is a good person because she did save Earth but also a bad person because she left behind a lot of pressure on the people around her and her son.

Rebecca fought hard to make this episode and let it air and it did but at the cost of getting the show cut short. After this to they gave them a few more episodes. A movie and a short series but yeah because of the wedding the show was cancelled. Also ruby wore the dress because some countries put a mustache on ruby and give her a male Va to censor the gay but rebbeca put ruby in a dress to stop this. Then the whole rose thing yes she was doing what’s right but she also did stuff wrong she wanted to make changed but she lied to thoes who looked up to her. The crystal gems a team that had a good 1,000 members looked at rose like a beacon of light and hope and fought beside her in a war that lasted 1,000 years. So many died to fight with her for it to turn out she lied about everything. It’s understandable why everyone was like that when they found out rose was pink. They where fighting the diamonds just to turn out they where being lead by a Diamond the ones that they where against. Then on the Diamond side their sister that has been with them for eons suddenly died by a rose quartz a gem that shouldn’t even be able to do that they where angry because they all caved in and gave her the earth and saw what happened so understandable they would be angry because they killed their sister and had an effect on their tryancey

This reminds me of the main character of Code Geass( idk if Christene or anyone here ever saw this anime). He did similar things Rose/Pink did, became a "bad person" in order to do good. IMO, I liked his character more than Rose/Pink because it was shown through his perspectives; his emotional turmoil, his frustrations, his regrets, we got to see it first hand. But with Rose/Pink, she's no longer there, we only see fractions of her character through flashbacks and past memories, mostly from her peers' perspective. I think if we had saw Rose/Pink struggles from her perspective, maybe people wouldn't judge her actions so harshly.

Was I the only one who dressed up for the wedding episode when it first came out? Lol. Ruby and Sapphire's wedding is the first wedding I willing dressed up for. I love them and Garnet sooooo much!!!

For sure but I think she gets a lot of hate since we watched her character develop backwards... Like would everyone hate Rose/Pink as much as they do now if we got her character development in the proper order?

Christene I think the gems are mad that Rose lied to them which is understandable. Plus so many gems suffered because of Pink Diamonds rebellion. And even if her intents were good, there was still consequences so I don't blame anyone who was apart of the Crystal Gems to be mad/upset about it all
