Nothing could have prepared me for this episode....

I was actually really glad that they kept imogen and sahar as friends as it shows that you can have really amazing queer platonic relationships with people without it always having to be romantic and that is so important for people to see It's also always a joy to see jonathan bailey in any capacity and this cameo was perfect for him!!

I really like Geoff (I hope I spelled that right) as well. He's such a good help for Charlie. For Charlie: You have plenty of confidence. Way more than me! I can promise you that! For Morgan: I, too, felt so disgusted by that radio host, and all her political questions! Like, Hello? Elle came here to talk about her art, not politics!! Edit: Idk it was that bad of a reaction from jerks, about you crying over the "shit" that was happening to Angel🥺! If that ever happens to me, I'm just gonna get away from social media. At least for a few months. Till it cools down

The interview pissed me off so much. Not only was it a bait and switch, but they ambushed a trans TEENAGER who is still in HIGH SCHOOL, saying her real name, what school she goes to, and her social media handle. They were painting a target on her back with no care about her wellbeing. And it broke my heart how she couldn't even be viewed as an artist and talk about her art. They had cut up her identity like it was a science project and not view her as the human girl that she is.

The ambushing about your trans identity when that wasn't supposed to be the topic of the interview is sadly a thing that actually happens. After this season dropped, Noahfinnce posted about how this happened to him as well before. If you don't know who he is, he is a trans man youtuber and singer. He had an interview before about his music that turned into questioning him about being trans much like this episode. And it's just so messed up that trans people cannot just exist as themselves. Their existence is not a debate.

A lot of emotions in this one. Some sweet, some anxious and some just really stressful. That’s Heartstopper for you. 😅 I just felt so sorry for Elle for going through that and was so worried for her. Morgan is here speaking them big facts as usual, and with great experience about the dangers of becoming a target to really toxic people. I just admire them for getting through that and still being the amazing person they are. 🥹👏 I actually wished Morgan jumped into the show and defended Elle. They would’ve fought tooth and nail for their sweet baby. ❤️

I was just thinking that when I first watched it. It’s like, why is it that a young trans person merely existing how they wish to is somehow a huge political statement for people who don’t know any better. They should be allowed to not be dictated by people in power on how to best live their lives and like Morgan says, it’s usually straight cisgendered men who tend to attack very vulnerable people. So ignorant people just should stay the hell out of a topic they have no business talking badly about. 💜

LOVE Michael! He’s one of my favorite characters! He originated in Solitaire which is a Tori-centric story by Alice and while we don’t get to see too much of him this season, the actor (who has read Solitaire) has said he tried his best to bring Solitaire Michael to life in this season 3. He’s a great guy! Also funny what you said about the meowing and the braincell because that was improvised. It was literally Joe meowing at Will and Yaz joined in and they kept the clip lol. The way I was so heated during Elle’s interview the first time I watched. Like, she’s there to talk about her art and that interviewer turned it into a debate about her identity and existence! Made me so so mad. Mama bear Argent came swinging though. Elle’s parents are wonderful people, I really really like them.

TW: R-Word Yeah, most men aren't r*pists. Though they are more likely to be than trans women. Another fact that I mention when people appear to be men bashing (you might want to keep it in mind next time) - Cis men are also more likely to be s**ually assaulted than they are to be r*pists.

Morgan Terry

I dont believe I was man bashing. I was being factual. I never said all cis gender men SA others. I said how typically if an individual is going to SA someone in a bathroom it’s a cis man. Cis men can also be victims of SA as you mentioned, but a lot of the time they’re being assaulted by other cis men. Not to say a woman has never SA’d a man because thats simply not true. Any one of any gender can be a monster.

Chloe Small

I understand and for the record, I never said you were men-bashing, I said "appear to be men-bashing" - I know you weren't, I just know some people will see it that way.

Seeing Jonathan Bailey reminds me I need to watch Fellow Travelers again for 😳 reasons
