‘The Grimoire de Merlock’. Now I just want to go and watch the original ‘DuckTales’ movie.

"I missed that, I was too busy fangirling" It's fine, so was Webby. This show incorporates a lot of elements from earlier iterations of the franchise, but most of them are at least somewhat changed from how they originally worked (and, of course, considering this franchise has been around for 90 years, it had a fair bit of internal inconsistency between TV shows, theatrical shorts, and the various different comic writers anyway), including Magica and the dime, so you're not missing out on any lore by not having seen the original show or the comics. This show has its own self-contained continuity inspired by but entirely distinct from the rest of the Disney Duck franchise. Every modern cartoon has a character with an abusive family driving them to a quasi-antagonistic relationship with the main characters despite wanting to be friends (or more) with them, and Lena fills that role for this show.

I love how Morgan instantly guessed how Mosco would react to the reporter’s “Which part of Ireland are you from” bit. In conclusion, your guess was more than correct. Mosco still remembers this particular character and at one point, even wanting to try “roasted duck”. 🤣💜

Interrupting the reaction to go off screen to hairdry tears off your shirt might be the most on-brand thing you've done on this channel. 😅 "Beans, beans, the musical fruit. The more you eat, the more you toot!" You've never heard that? I've also heard "magical" in place of "musical". And I think it winds down with: "The more you toot, the better you feel! So let's eat beans for every meal!" Yeah, if you haven't watched Mosco's reaction yet, do it. Its a treat. Roxanne Featherly has made an enemy for life. 🤣

I have a little bit of a request and a question for you.

If you've read the Nimona graphic novel, could you maybe react to a video called Nimona and the Art of Adaptation by rose-colored essays?

Morgan Terry

I haven’t read the novel. I dont think that video would really be up my alley anyways. I’m not going to have the time to take requests for a while

Sekiro

Would definitely recommend reading it. And if you ever change your mind, let me know. Also, I highly recommend listening to Sling by Clairo.

Tintros

They did such a good job with Lena, and for those that've seen the original series, Magica is a nice nod to that.
