It ís a bit rough to watch in spots but with 2 of my favorite actors it goes well. Pedro said in an interview that it was actually a storm while they were filming. I guess now we need to go on to Gladiator 2 and get the 2 of them together again yes?

I’m pretty sure Pedro Pascal is trying to get into every existing franchise in Hollywood before the end of the decade lol.

How many languages does Denise know?? Lol English, German, Spanish, and now Turkish(?). I know Ari said he used to live in Spain, I don't know if that's where you guys met. I've been trying to learn Japanese in my free time and I know a little Spanish just from high school, not enough to carry a conversation. I imagine once you figure out how to learn one learning others becomes easier.

A couple other great Denzel movies are Training Day, American Gangster which also stars Russell Crowe, Glory, Remember the Titans, and Book of Eli. Of course all of his movies are worth a watch. But especially Training Day is a must watch.

I'm glad you guys mentioned how the family of Pascal's chatacter won't know what happened to him cause that's something I always think about with movies like this for some reason. Henchmen gets thrown off a cliff, put in a meat grinder, buried in cement etc and here I am thinking "that guy's family is never going to know what happened to him" 😂😂.

As a huge fan of the 80s tv show, I gotta say, I feel sad every time you call him Bob. He's clearly a Robert. Haha. Like the girl said in the first movie, Bob watches tv. Robert reads books :) Every time you call him Bob, it honestly takes me a beat to realize who you are talking about.

In the vein of this kind of movie, I'd like to highly recommend Nobody. Bob Odinkerk is simply amazing in it.

Denise, how many languages do you speak? I've seen you translate quite a few :)). What am I missing?

For once, a sequel that is just as good or maybe even better than the first one. The stories are equally grabbing and we get an even deeper look into Roberts character and past. The scene between Robert and Miles (with the gun) is incredible. Denzel's acting in that scene (and most of the film in general) is just so intense but still grounded. He steals most of every scene he is (Denzel tends to do that) but some of the scenes in this one he just destroys. Ashton Sanders does an excellent job as Miles though, he is both annoying and loveable at the same time and I think he works very well in this movie. I do agree about the villains in the final act, they absolutely behave like classical bad guys instead of intelligent opponents and this doesn't exactly fit with how they are portrayed earlier in the film. The action overall is good, sure it could have been a lot "more" in the final act, but some of the earlier stuff is really good. The car scene is for instance fantastic. I really like the idea of the Miles story being the big side-story, but all the smaller ones (the old guy, the raped girl, the abducted girl) are touching and definitely stays with you. Very well done and definitely grabbing. Overall I like this slightly more than the first one, but it's slim margins. I haven't seen the third one yet, so I will be watching that with you guys! Looking forward to it. More "must-see" Denzel: Man On Fire (2004) Inside Man (2006) Remember the Titans (2000) John Q (2002) Malcolm X (1992)

The only question i have at this point is.. Straight Into TE3 or Man On Fire into TE3?
