THE SIXTH SENSE FULL LENGTH MOVIE REACTION - WATCH ALONG

I voted for this, I hope you really enjoyed it :) Later edit: I watched it again, this time together with you, and I have to say I highly appreciate the fact you're not making a show for viewers by "reacting" on it - I mean, there were moments in the movie when you were completely silent, just being captivated, and to me that was a more genuine reaction than commenting, or over-commenting it. Kudos for this! Aside from this: I don't know how the movies are selected for a poll here, I would propose to include 1992's Scent of a Woman, I personally consider it Al Pacino's best acting movie (due to the difficulty to play its character) and also quite in the same drama category as The Sixth Sense.

Extraordinary movie. My favorite horror movies are the ones that have something huge that you never see coming! Most of the time I feel like I see this in psychological thrillers, but it seems like it's even more exciting when you see it in horror films.

This one and the way the final minutes unfolded was absolutely masterful! No wonder you guys have been asking for this one!

I'm almost sure Denise would love the music score and the autumn fall. And you the lights, couple of great Rembrandt-esques scenes ;) Btw, did you observe how old movies are different in lights and colors than today's ones? Back then it was Kodak, Agfa, whatever, they were trying to get as much as possible realistic colors, unlike today when everything is almost bi-color.

M. Night Shyamalan was on The Tonight Show promoting another film in 2019 and he shared a memory from "The Sixth Sense" shoot in Philly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_bySp0d_fI&t=199s

There's so many things I love about this movie, and every time I watch a reaction to it, I want to talk about them all, but every time I finish watching, I always forget about most of them. LOL I've seen this movie dozens of times, and there's something I only just realized now, as I finished watching. Cole and his mother's last name is Sear, but it's pronounced SEE-er. I noticed it when looking at the ending credits. They said it in the movie a couple of times, now that I think about it, but I never caught it before. SEE-er, as in the word people sometimes use for those who are psychic. And sometimes the ability to see or sense ghosts, Cole's ability, falls into that category. Brilliant little bit of storytelling, where they're telling us what's happening but we don't see it. One of the really cool things about the twist in this movie is that it has two twists, "I see dead people," and that HE's dead. The neat thing is the affect that the first twist had on spoilers for some. It doesn't work in every case, but I've seen plenty of reactors go into this thinking they already know the twist. They say something like, "Yeah, sorry, guys, I already know the twist. The kid sees dead people. I've been told all about how this movie has a famous twist, but I already know it, so don't expect a big surprised reaction when that happens." They go in having no idea there is a much bigger one, and that's the one that people are usually spoiling--the reactor just doesn't see it for what it is. It's neat, the way the first twist sometimes prevents the bigger twist from being spoiled. M. Night is so clever, I have to wonder if he did that on purpose, setting up two twists so that when people go to the theaters, having had the "I see dead people" spoiled, he knew it would throw them off the scent for the second one. I know, it's not likely, but it's fun to imagine that he saw that coming. Great reaction, you two. I knew this one would be fantastic, and it was.
