Jess is one of very few people I could shoot with constantly and build every inspiration around her and she would smash it. Altough I'm saying this after doing only two shoots with her I'm convinced that's true.

In fact this was our second shoot together, very different to the first one, it was more "me", more intimate and more personal (maybe I should post the first one in full too?).

Set up was very simple: white backdrop in front of my balcony windows for nice even lighting and just capturing her effortless beautifulness. I also wanted to use "kisiel", it's a polish thing, almost like a slime but edible with many different flavours and colours of course to choose from. How I wanted it to be used that was yet unknown and left it up to her and that was a great decision.

We started right away with a roll of Portra400 and then we ended with some more digital shots.

I think there's a clear difference in what we have achieved with two different mediums.

Film shots are more pure, effortless, more emotional and digital photos came out more posey and more modely. I'm not saying one is better than the other just pointing out quite visible differences.

It's definitely in the top list of my shoots and the one I definitely have to hang the outcome of on one of my walls!

Hand up in the comments if you've read all this! ha

Cheers,

PK
