ANNOUNCEMENT - ULTIMATE NCT RANKING ON 'PAUSE' (Patreon)

Hey Guys,

First off, I'm so sorry and sending love to the victims of the recent news of Taeil from NCT, it sounds genuinely AWFUL with the accusations and I hope they are getting any and all support they need. Secondly, I feel big time for the fans, news like this from people you admire and are fans of is very tough to take. Thirdly, I hope that the innocent members aren't getting any hate as they deserve the benefit of the doubt of having no clue what Taeil was (allegedly) doing.

I am still waiting on a police statement as I'm sure many fans are. However unless he's proven innocent (which is VERY unlikely atm, I have to say), well...

I've discussed this with the sponsor of the Ultimate NCT Ranking. Due to the obvious recent events, I will be 'pausing' the Ultimate NCT Ranking until further notice and not be reacting to anything Taeil related (only NCT Songs he features in, in the future) and NEVER be reacting to anything of him solo ever.

I know some may be curious on this decision with the history that EXO has with Kris Wu, but it does have some differences. It was fairly 'early' in EXO's discography where he is in their songs/MV's. Taeil is alot tougher as he was an integral part of NCT until yesterday. Secondly, all this is obviously RECENT, from what I've seen on comments on NCT videos in the last 24 hours, NCT fans seem quite disillusioned (understandably so) right now and hurt. I don't think any NCT content unless it's separate solo stuff from all the innocent members is being enjoyed right now, for the most part.

What is the future of the Ultimate NCT Ranking? Will it continue?: Yes it will return, but it will be quite a while before I return to it, honestly. I will be editing Taeil out of the NCT intro for any future NCT reactions. I will also be doing a disclaimer for any NCT reaction at the start. Like with Kris Wu (former EXO), I won't be commenting on anything done by Taeil (knowingly), there's the risk of not knowing his voice and him singing and he's not on screen and I compliment him, but that's just one of those things. I will never KNOWINGLY compliment him or even comment on him from now on.
