Suhyun is just one of my favorite singers at this point. She is so good at nailing the emotion of the songs. Giving her a song like this (which I agree is a great song in general) really makes her shine even more. Regarding the film, I actually liked it a lot. The action is less Matrix and more Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (so more geared towards dreamlike). They do stray from the original idea of Mulan quite a lot, but it becomes more about the concept of women at that time in that country being able to be more than just wives. I think of it as another iteration/interpretation of the same material so it works for me, but I totally can see why it is not for everyone.
