SO. While I'm still recovering and trying to get right for filming. I've been doing this. For anyone that doesn't know, I've been using CLIPCHAMP (free) for editing since the very beginning. This intro is the very first thing I've made on ADOBE PREMIERE PRO. So, hopefully it's a start? The TOP 100: YEAR 2 begins DECEMBER 10th 2024. Running through the month until DECEMBER 30th 2024. TOP 100?! I hear you say! THE PLAN FOR THE SERIES: Yes, baby, yes. I figured since I've listened to more than DOUBLE the songs I did in YEAR 1 (3000+ Songs and counting), that getting a list of 50 is way too hard. So 100 it is! Now, Number #100-#51 will be presented in shorter episodes, just a fun compilation of what made the list. Then when we get to #50 onwards, it's going to be FULL ON treatment with me chatting about my love for each song with some crazy editing (this is why I upgraded software, for this very series). I'll be honest, I'm incredibly nervous about this series with YouTube. Last year, the series (except for 1 or 2 episodes) was blocked and it was soul destroying to have that work not be seen by the maximum audience. I'm going to cut up the YEAR 1 series into episodes with less songs and post them on YouTube in the next few weeks to see if that makes a difference. But I'm not holding my breath. DO NOT WORRY though, folks. Unlike last year where I 'held back' because of copyright worry. I will be planning/filming and editing with COMPLETE CREATIVE FREEDOM this time, because I want that for FREE PATREON EXCLUSIVES for the series. I'm going to try and get it onto YouTube still, even if I have to do a completely different format for it, but watching on Patreon will be the ULTIMATE way to watch this series (PUN INTENDED). RULES- There's so many rules and guidelines to mention for this series that honestly it would be best for me to hold off them until I say them at the start of every episode. I'll tell you the most important of all though - ONLY ONE SONG from an ARTIST/GROUP/BAND is allowed for me. Oh boy.... TOP 10: PATREON BINGO- Just like last year. We will be starting a 'BINGO' game for the TOP 10 with Patreon Tier Prizes. This as well I will do a video on when we are closer to the series in DECEMBER. 3 people won last year with 3 bonus requests each! DEADLINE- As you may be aware, the cut-off point for songs to qualify for YEAR 2 is DECEMBER 1st, 2024. Otherwise known as the end of the NOVEMBER MONTHLY REQUEST STREAM: DAY 2. Any songs after that will count toward YEAR 3. SUMMARY- I'm extremely excited about this series. The TOP 100 (formerly TOP 50) has always been the 'MAIN EVENT' of my channel, what it kind of builds to at the end of the year. It is my love letter to all the songs, artists, bands, groups I've been lucky enough to enjoy and OF COURSE, my love letter to you guys. THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS.... Much Love, Ross x
