TECH ISSUES UPDATE - PLEASE READ (Patreon)

Where to begin with this...

TECH ISSUES/MICROPHONE SYNC ISSUES-

I won't lie, my return from being not well has not been a smooth one when it comes to filming. Every day I've filmed since coming back I've had really frustrating tech issues. You may have noticed the out of sync microphone in particular. Long story short. I'm currently trying to troubleshoot with my moderators the issues but I won't be filming any more requests until it is 1000% sorted.

There will be ranking episodes (because I can't afford to not post them after missing 2 weeks of illness) and just doing a SUPER TEDIOUS practice to try and make sure they don't have issues. I'm so sorry for these issues, they are completely unforeseen and INSANELY frustrating.

TECH CHANGES-

So recently I made a big change, I switched from Clipchamp (a free video editing app) to the Industry Standard Adobe Premiere Pro (Expensive). It was really tough to get used to and I'm still learning but the results are a HUGE improvement....there's a problem however. I still don't know what's causing all these issues but I installed Premiere Pro a few days before all these issues (coincidence? I legit don't know).

I NEED to use Premiere Pro to deliver the Top 100 in the way I want to, that's simple. BUT I can't seem to record reactions while it's installed (maybe?) and that's a BIG ISSUE. So I've just uninstalled Premiere Pro begrudgingly and gone back to Clipchamp for reactions. We'll see in the next two days if that fixes.

When it comes to Streamlabs (the app I've used for streaming for 8-10 months) and recording in general...I'm done with. It's been faulty at times (MV's and performances being out of sync) but it's becoming a big issue now with MY MICROPHONE being consistently out of sync (sometimes switching mid-reaction, the Everglow recent video is a prime example of this issue in practice).

I'm going to be switching to OBS, I don't know if this is issue but Streamlabs is a screwy app and has screwed me over unknowingly in different ways over the year anyway.

WHAT ALL THIS CHANGES (REQUEST TIERS PLEASE READ THIS BIT)-

This is a spanner in the works in more ways than one, to be honest. So I don't have Premiere Pro atm, but I WILL need it in December. Pretty much for the whole month. But I can't film reactions or do streams while it's installed (I think at least). So here's my thinking at the moment. I'm going to have to do all the reactions BEFORE I go into the TOP 100 stage (Latest December 3rd). So I'm going to do something here folks which is going to ask a lot of trust of you. I've been lucky with how much trust you have put in me. So I want you to make your December Requests (including Xmas requests) AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

This basically means making your request a month early. I'm going to be flying through requests and the truth is, I won't be able to do them once I start the TOP 100 series, because Premiere Pro will be installed. Then I'll get the TOP 100 done throughout December and can uninstall Premiere Pro by the end of the month, when we get to the Christmas Streams, so it won't affect any filming. (Anyone curious how I will be filming during the TOP 100, it will be a completely different method and presentation, so it won't make any impact like it does normally).

Bottom Line: If you are going to be on a Request Tier in December, please make your requests for December ASAP. Also can I please ask that people don't make requests who don't subscribe to request tiers next month, I will be paying close attention to anyone who does this, but I'm hoping no one will :)

SUMMARY:
So yeah, these tech problems are pretty badly timed. I have a very good gaming laptop with good RAM, and it's frustrating not to get performance that I should be getting.

To sum up again: I'm uninstalling Premiere Pro (because of it's poor performance impact) until Early December but as soon as it's installed then, I'm starting the TOP 100 Series and won't be filming ANY reactions until it's done. Once the series is all filmed and edited, I will be uninstalling Premiere Pro for the MANY December Streams we will be having near the end of December. Get your December Requests in ASAP, IF and ONLY, you are planning on requesting next month :)
