0:55 The song is called “B’rave ~ a song for Matilda” and yes, it is a reference to the Roald Dahl book (Billlie actually have several literary references throughout their discography). 1:20 That is exactly the sort of face I was hoping to see… 😜 1:35 That’s one of our main vocals, Suhyeon. 2:35 Don’t worry, Ill wait… 😏 2:55 It’s certainly up there for me, too. Back in November, I already *liked* Billlie, but hadn’t fully plunged… but I realised at some point that I liked enough that I wanted to download all their digitals, so I bought them all (I always buy what I can, I only rip what’s not otherwise available), and started listening to the discography, mostly uninterrupted, on my bus journeys to and from work. I loved almost everything on first listen (one or two songs took a couple of goes, but they soon grabbed me too), but *this* one… As soon as it finished, I had to loop back and listen again. And then a third time. This song earwormed me for a whole damn MONTH; it had every opportunity to make me get sick of it, and it utterly failed at every attempt. This song took me from being *in*, to *IN.* Now I have all the physical albums, a lightstick, and I’m a fully paid-up membership card-wielding Belllie’ve. 3:15 *All* of their voices. These girls are very much all-rounders. And their harmonies, too… Most of the time when a group performs, you’ll usually see one person singing, and any complimenting vocals come from a backing track, but here (and whenever you watch Billlie perform live), I love seeing them do two- and three- (and sometimes more-)part harmonies beautifully... 3:30 Maknae Haruna here; she was the blonde in the Ring ma Bell MV. I don’t recall if I mentioned, but at times in that video, their outfits bore the names of the tracks from the mini-album… and Haruna’s top carries the title of this song across the chest..! 3:40 This is one of our main dancers, Tsuki, followed by the other main vocal, Haram (you *definitely* noticed her vocals in Ring ma Bell)… 3:45 Main rappers Moon Sua (first up, with the shorter hair) and Siyoon (my primary bias and Eye Magnet™)... 4:25 There’s that word again: “satisfying”. I swear that's my buzzword for Billlie... 5:20 Yeah, I had a feeling this would be right up your alley, which is why I switched to this from my original plan, to maybe give you that extra bit of encouragement… 6:20 Oh, they have *variety.* So the question is, what’s next? I think for my next request, I probably *will* go back to my original plan; it’s very much *not* retro R&B, I can tell you that much… 😈
